I have alot of PM's etc. and just wanted to answere them here,

Mr Wilson please let this thread stay here for 2-3 days then delete it or move it, I would just appericate that you leave it here so my friends knw whats up.


I had a operation here in munich 4 weeks ago on my lower back(my 3rd tomarrow will be #4-ouch!!!), there was a complication and I havent been able to walk much at all, I cant play pool the past 3 weeks, I played a 3 hour session once and since then I navent been able to walk. What happened was a metal implant in my back popped out of place and is moving around in there, So I flew to Germany yesterday and am going to have it extracted tomarrow, its a 1-2 hour operation as its in a dangerous area and deep in me. The 2nd inplant they put in 4 weeks ago is fine and hopefully that will help me. I havent been able to play pool much or do anything since the Derby, my condition has been in free fall since the Derby, infact it was bad at the Derby-I was in the room there most of the time.


I just want to thank all my friends here for being cool guys and even the guys who dont like me, I like everyone here. When I had to use the wheel chair at the airports yesterday because I couldnt walk and i'm 41 it puts things into perspective....fast. I know I come off as a self centered guy most of the time but thats just me marketing "Fatboy". Eric is a different guy sure I'm not perfect and I dont expect everyone to agree or like me, but you can be sure who ever you are I have no anger towards anyone. I'm scared shitless about tomarrow, I have been in bed for 3 years, I havent driven a sports car in 7 months or been to a resteraunt in a month.

I'm not looking for sympathy I'm just showing the other side of me to everyone. I hope things are good for all AZers-times are tough. Shoot straight, enjoy life.

What happened

is in a half conscious state, with a wistful smile on your face, you said, 'I want to be the 6 million ball man', and they thought you said the 6 million dollar man, and loaded you up with tin.

Please straighten that out, as I know you wanted the automatic laser device in your bridge arm for sighting.
 
This is just a rough time for you brother,it will get better and you need to keep that in mind.You seem like a good generous guy who loves the game and outside of pool you seem like a good dude,so keep doing the right things and Karma will help you out. :)
 
better luck with the next op, Fatboy. Btw, was that an artificial disc that went bad on you? I understand they've been using them in Europe for the past few years, but just getting started here. Had read that none of them had failed ... hope yours wasn't the first!
 
You wouldnt have went all the way to Germany if the doctor wasnt top notch.

Dont worry buddy, everything will be ok.
 
After 2 back surgeries myself, I feel your pain (although not as much as you do)!

I'm pulling for ya, Eric! This better not be an excuse when I'm sinking my hooks in ya on the snooker table :)

Good luck, man... I am sure the docs will have you hitting your Bushkas in a matter of days.

I had no idea that you have been through all of this. I know the fellows on AZ wish you the best of luck and we hope your surgery goes well. I'd be scared too and since i've been on the operating table a couple of times myself I know what you are going through.
