I talked to Eric's girlfriend just after he got out of the recovery room yesterday. She said he was ok, but they had not talked to the Dr's yet.
 
Get well very soon Friend. Come back walking tall and straight without pain..............:cool:

Here's hoping you make a 100% recovery and are feeling well in no time at all! Hopefully, this will be the last time you have to undergo surgery.
Your family / friends of pooldom wish you all the best.

And I think I can speak for all of us when I say that these thoughts and best wishes extend to everybody else who is also suffering, but we don't know about it or who they are. I can imagine there are a lot of us here who are hurting or struggling in some way. If words could heal or fix things, I wish we could all know that there is a lot of love and fondness in the world. We just make need to make sure we're looking for it in the right places. Family and friends are a good start....

You have a lot of very good people on AZ and elsewhere who count you as friend, and they all wish you a speedy and full recovery.

Back pain can be real lousy, and I will keep you in my thoughts for the complete end to all the pain you have gone through, and for the ability to play pool in the manner you wish without having to make room for down time regularly.

I've been waiting for some updates on the outcome like he was my little brother. :o Hope this anxious feeling passes and we have some positive news. Crown City ???

Wow what a thread, man I got goose bumpsn and wet eyes, I had no Idea there was gonna be even 10% this many replies, I was just trying to catch up on PM's. Man I feel honored, nothing like this has happened to be before,

I am better now and walked today for the first time more than 100meters, I walked about 1.5 miles before my back gave out on me, They went in on me a last Thursday and pulled out the implant from last month that poped out, so that set back was solved but the underlying cause of my back ache is up in the air because the other implant put on last month is there and I seem to feel a bit better, I just want to go to the gym-light work outs not bodybuilding like before, and play pool. I have been in Bed most of the time since the DCC, I will be ok.

I'm just amazed at this thread, there is one other one called "Fatboy?" that I made some personal posts about me-eric petersen not "Fatboy". "Fatboy" is a pool charcter and ofcourse its partly me, but those posts as well as in this thread are the real Eric,

thank you all for all the kind words thoughts, I have only one Uncle and a great girl, no family so this kind of thing means alot more to me than most people,

Well at least that's some improving news. Hope it continues to get better. Listen to what the doctors say about physical activities and work. Don't listen to your heart.
