Odds of Wheat delivering Charlie Edwards Cue/Partial Refund

Any mention of a partial refund?
Eddie has said several times that when he ships the cue he will enclose a partial payment because of all the delays. I told him to just send the cue, that's all I ever wanted, since a full refund was not an option for me.

On several different occasions he has posted that I refused a partial refund. That didn't happen. I told him to just keep the part payment and send the cue. And that was right after one of the four times that he had said the cue was finished and ready to ship.

He also posted that I cut off all communications with him by me telling him I didn't want to hear from him again and that I wanted him to send the cue before it was finished. What happened on that deal was that on one of the times he had told me the cue was ready and I'd have it ''next week'', several weeks went by and I sent him a PM telling him to just send the cue, and that I didn't want to hear from him again. By that time I had had it with Eddie Wheat.

Since hopefully this is near an end, I wanted to clear up those details.

On a side note: I hope he settles this thing right now. I'm sick and tired of being on this needless and long bumpy road that Eddie Wheat chose to put me on. I, in no way, deserved it!

Well, we can bet on the odds.

1. Wheat will pay partial money
2. Wheat will pay all money back
3. Wheat will deliver a cue
4. Wheat will keep some money
5. Wheat will keep all money

I'll be the AZ bookie for this one. Taking bets.

Lets move this to the action forum and start betting the over under

This is clearly another Bash Eddie Wheat Thread... Mods, should put a stop to it before it ever gets started!!!!

So you send me money for a cue, I don't deliver the cue. Your friends or acquaintances or even strangers jump on me for not sending the cue. I should be able to go on about my life, and every time someone brings it up it should get deleted?

Hey John do you want my address, prefer paypal or postal money order. Let me know when your ready to send the money.

?????????

Heres a little food for thought. What are the odds on the shafts being straight 7mos. or 3mos. or in 1 month???????? Not good I'd say with green wood an living a block from the river with flooding an no dehumidifier. I think that is just to big a test for wd-40 as a wood stabilizer. Imho Charlie Edwards is just going to be the first in a long line of unsatisfied customers that fall into the EW TRAP............

Ordering a cue should not be Brutality!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Would you buy a cue made by either of our two "infamous cuemakers" at 70% of "retail" on the secondary market?

50%?

Just curious...

Another wise question from the wise one ...

I've been offered a cue in above situation and I flatly rejected it. I do not want to support someone I don't have any respect for ... not directly or in secondary market.

a few leaves are OK

Also does that count if Ed deliveries a cue with a shaft so unseasoned that branches are growing off it ?

A few leaves growing off of it are OK. If it has actual branches or is in full bloom it will be reasonable to question if it is properly aged.

Sorry Eddie, couldn't resist!

Wheat sent me a PM yesterday saying the cue would be shipped today and he would send tracking information.

Odds on Mr. Edwards receiving "tracking information"? 55 minutes left in this day.Perhaps it was too wet to risk providing the "tracking information "for fear of actually having to step up to the plate? Maybe tomorrow we will know whether or not the cue is on its way.
Duce add this one to the list of potential bets.

Considering Eddie stated in a post at least 1 week ago that the cue was shipping the next day, I think the odds are better for Charles to receive a new cue from the Az'er that loaned Eddie the money, made with the Align-rite CNC on 'loan' from Eddie....before he'll receive that '8' pointer cue from Ed.
One would think that with all the BS he has shoveled on here, EW would be an asset, and rich beyond belief, to the fertilizer industry, more than the Cuebuilding one.

Overnight I got a PM from Mr. Wheat saying the cue HAS been shipped via USPS priority mail (insured). He didn't send tracking numbers.

Priority mail runs 2-4 days. From Florida the normal delivery is 3 days to my house. That means I should get the cue Saturday. If not Tuesday for sure, because of Monday being a holiday. We will see.

If this cue comes in I will post it in this thread. That's all I'm going to post. I decided not to give the cue any kind of a review or to describe it in any way. I have no desire to hurt or help Eddie Wheat.

If this cue comes in it is for sale for what I have in it, $700. It will be sold as is... exactly the way I receive it. No guarantees and no returns. I will accept a USPS money order only. Send a PM if you want it. I will give the specs to potential buyers before any money changes hands but thats the only info I'm going to give. It will be unchalked and no test hits made.

If the cue is as beautiful and low priced as Eddie says, it is the bargain of the century. That's just a chance the buyer must be willing to take.

Why the change of heart?

Why did you change your mind about reviewing the cue Charlie?

I was anxiously awaiting the first real review of a WheatCue!

He explained it in his post and I don't blame him for feeling that way.

Good luck with that sale:rolleyes:

I may be wrong but going from memory, I don't think Priority Mail has tracking numbers. I would bet that your cue shows up tomorrow.

It does as long as EW put Insurance and Sig. Conf. on it as well.

There's no tracking # on USPS (unless perhaps if you pay for an extra service?). I use it frequently. I pump $4.80 onto a label thru my mail machine, slap it on - along with a priority mail sticker - and the mail man picks it up. I'm in a "middle market", ranked 49th ADI in the country. It seems it takes 2 days to deliver 90% of the time to most domestic routes, ocassionally 1 day, but am not aware of it ever taking more than 3 days. If neither Charlie or Eddie are in bum-f**k Egypt, 2 days is likely gonna do the trick.

tick... tick...

He said it was insured. The insurance part has a number... which acts as a tracking number.

But one of the other posters is correct in that Priority mail alone doesn't have tracking numbers.

With the optional Delivery Conformation you get a number. If the package is insured, delivery conformation is not necessary because insured mail requires a signature and is scanned at the time of delivery.

There's no true TRACKING system with the USPS, just verification whether or not an item has been sent/delivered.
