Charlie Edwards said:Overnight I got a PM from Mr. Wheat saying the cue HAS been shipped via USPS priority mail (insured). He didn't send tracking numbers.
Priority mail runs 2-4 days. From Florida the normal delivery is 3 days to .
If the cue is as beautiful and low priced as Eddie says, it is the bargain of the century. That's just a chance the buyer must be willing to take.
Good for you! I hope everything works out for you... really.WheatCues said:For those who are interested... 2 more cues were shipped out today !

I'm really busy trying to get ALL my customers orders processed and completed.... Just thought I would take a break and give you guys the updates !
Take care everyone !
Priority Mail is assigned a "Delivery Confirmation" number. Its not an option its included in the cost of Priority. "Insured" mail is assigned a seperate number for use only by US Postal and the Insurer.Charlie Edwards said:He said it was insured. The insurance part has a number... which acts as a tracking number.
But one of the other posters is correct in that Priority mail alone doesn't have tracking numbers.
With the optional Delivery Conformation you get a number. If the package is insured, delivery conformation is not necessary because insured mail requires a signature and is scanned at the time of delivery.
There's no true TRACKING system with the USPS, just verification whether or not an item has been sent/delivered.

The reason I'm selling the cue is that I don't need another playing cue.
I originally ordered that cue as a gift to an elderly friend that had his cue stolen during the Xmas holidays. He couldn't afford to replace it. In the mean time I loaned him one of my cues. We use the same specs. I ordered Eddie's cue as though I was ordering it for myself because if it happened to be a magic wand I was going to keep it for myself because my friend was very happy with the loaner. Since the EW cue didn't come in I told my friend to just keep the cue I loaned him. That was a $1400 cue, BTW.
Also during that time I had someone else that really wanted to buy my current playing cue, a Chudy that I like very much. I told him I'd sell it to him when the Wheat cue came in, if I liked it. After so much time I lost that potential buyer.
I hope all this makes sense. Now when the Wheat cue arrives I'll simply have too many playing cues. That's the reason I'm offering the EW cue for sale. There's nothing personal involved. This is strictly business.
You can also find out if the package was actually sent. Too bad they don't have an actual tracking system that tells you where the package is at all times.masonh said:i never get a delivery confirmation number with Priority unless i pay the extra 75 cents they charge.i might need to look into printing them off my computer.
like Charlie said though the tracking is basically useles with USPS.you can only find out when it is delivered.

For free (using www.usps.com website printing) or for less than $1.00, you get something like below for USPS delivery confirmation. I think it's pretty good value. I know when it's shipped and when it arrived in my 'hood.

For future reference, according to the AzBilliards Forums Rules " Items that will be allowed for sale must be pool related" Is an item really for sale if the "seller" takes the money but does not deliver? Is an item really for sale if the "seller" makes false claims regarding delivery time and quality?Perhaps in the future the new wheat cue logo will be a picture of "Smiling Bob".

Not in todays mail. From my experience with priority mail, holidays always seem to delay things. Hopefully it will get here by the first or middle of next week.cubswin said:Get the cue Charlie or another shipping delay story?

I'll post here when I get it. If I don't post... means it hasn't come in.
