Official Challenge to Rhea

Yeah yeah. Now the excuses come out.
The UTube Kissing video made you change your mind.

Either that or you got all ascared to Go All In and Back it and Jack it.

Whatsamatter, you don't got 40 bucks all of a sudden? I Pay Pal you ok. I will send extra in case you lose, for hot dogs and buns.

You can make Wiener Water Soup after the hot Dogs are gone. I hear that Bonus Ball is still giving out free Micro Wave Popcorn with every ball set.

Charlie Hustle, I'll try Rhea a set to 21 for that 1k.
I'll go out on a limb and play even too, and that's a big adjustment, as last time Rhea was in town she gave me the 7 ball.
Can we make it happen, I'll even play at your spot, Fast Eddies. And we can stream it. And I promise to never ever run 1 rack.

No thanks. But you can confirm our bet in the Action Room. I took your 3/2 money bet on the Texans.

I guess we have a different perspective of what a C player is. No C player breaks and runs against the ghost, let alone puts a 2 pack on the ghost. Thanks for at least being honest and putting the video up of yourself.

Hell, I didnt even watch the whole thing. The first 5 racks was enough. You broke and ran 4/5. Wish I played C speed...

Look out, I am getting into a trap.... I am a documented B+ player, and I would play this guy for sure. But he
could not use that stupid rack!

Entertaining thread, I enjoyed it.

Russ, you've got action with me if we cross paths
or you're near the southeast down the road. Based
on your video it'd be a good match, so I must be
a C player, too.

Here's a video from last month.. This should provide a decent speed rating...

Short Bus vs the Ghost

Short Bus Russ - C Player

Super video, great shooting. I watched the entire thing. Nice table, and great music..

I think this is a great thread and I believe I get the point Russ is trying to make.

C player eh,, well, this is the kind of person a road player will meet in about every town. Hell, I wouldn't gamble with Russ if he gave me the wild 7/8.

So, Rhea wants to be a road player and can't manage to beat the "6 ball ghost" consistently.. well, I guess her delusional thinking has been documented on AZ well before now. So as a road player she is going to walk into my pool hall and ask for weight.... good grief.

Back to reality.,,, it is amazing to me how good a person must be to "make" it on the road.

Has anyone in history been successful on the road??? I mean, over the long haul, not just for a short time.. I read the Kid Delicious book, but not sure I would consider that a success story, but maybe I'm wrong.

Before/during WWII, I am pretty sure some road players did very well. Especially during WWII in Virginia, a lot of road players got ridiculously high games with the military members heading overseas...

Short Bus Russ

You see why I don't stake anymore? It takes 6 months of forum woofing to book a dime set that leaves no meat on the bone after you make the nut.

Lord please take me back to the 90s. My players would have 5 players at every room that would short race for $500. Dime sets were automatic soon after.

Hell I could get serious action with my sorry game. People just had gamble then. After it was over we all hit the Waffle house and steered each other for free.

Do I sound like Fast Eddie waxing nostalgic?

a lot of people were successful on the road . . . but

A lot of people were successful on the road but what most of today's players can't grasp is that there were maybe a small handful that didn't have the feast or famine lifestyle. A big car was almost a must. Nice on the highway, more importantly, nicer to sleep in when you had a bad day! I was driving a pick-up when a very good road player asked me to take a ride with him. He was driving a Malibu and sleeping in it that night. I'm a moderately tall fellow and the seats in that Malibu played a big part in me passing on the trip!

Sleeping cheap, a lot of ways to eat cheap, road players knew a lot of survivial methods to get by when things went south. I could easily live on $30 a day not counting gas on the road today if I needed to. The old players lived just like that at times on a fraction of thirty dollars. When things were good they lived large, when things were bad they survived. At the end of the year they might have made a very nice income but chances are they had blown it on other vices. Many were gamblers with weaknesses for other styles of gambling they couldn't beat. Substance abuse problems got a lot more of them. A very elite few were good enough businessmen to make a good living and maintain a good lifestyle. Some did, most of whom were never heard of. A few surfaced on AZB well past their road days.

Russ was never serious about this thread. He is officially forever a "C" player and Short Bus Russ but he may be the best "C" player on the planet on a given day! (Sorry Russ, I knew you would never steal anyway.)

Wow, poolhustler... You seem very passionate about what is certainly a tongue-in-cheek thread.

Rhea starts a troll thread, I respond in kind.

And I didn't really HAVE to post the video....I figured it was a nice gesture to Charlie to show him that I was just fooling around.

I am not one to hustle much and try to trap lesser players. I play to try to achieve perfection of mind and body, if only for a short time.

Short Bus Russ - C Player

Ok.. my bad, I must have read it wrong....

I will say for sure the definition of a C player varies from one state to another. In Iowa I am probably a B player. In another state with stronger shooters overall I would definitely be a C player and I am just your normal weak APA 7 in 8 ball.

I thought Russ once said something like that someone better be better than a shortstop if they are going to beat him. Now shortstops are A players, but not top pro speed. Where did all your confidence go Russ?

Russ=some kind of a B player. It's a matter of high or low regionally but I doubt he's an A or a C no matter where you go.

The main difference between a C and a B is a B doesn't think he's an A.

BTW Russ, I hope you don't take my post too personal. I just didn't understand why you were calling her out when you know you are a strong B player and she is a high C or low B.

Nice shooting in the video also. Try to work on keeping you head still.
