this seems a touch outragous you want someone to spend 90 bucks on a ferrule then charge 125 to put one on???? so i invest 90 to make 35? that is if some crazy person comes in and actually wants it for that price. i charge 20 to put on a 1 dollar ferrule, seems to be a much better cost to profit margin.
im not trying to be rude im just trying to understand why so expensive, and if it really plays that good wouldnt someone start making it again or more top players use it?
i dont know of any that do tho.
i have some and wasnt impressed.

Not to butt in, but this relates to me indirectly....
This material has not been made since 1976,
and will never be made again - for reasons no one will explain.
The plastics manufacturers don't care how good it plays. They will
never make any more.

Asbestos Fabric. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Asbestos and paper I think.
Asbestos could be just an excuse though.
It was an expensive process I am told. The paper was rolled and was squeeged after every layer of resin was applied.
Could be just another pool tale though.
