Your showing your age, that drive-in has not been there for 30 years or more.:D :D

I was about 17 when that happened, even though it seems like yesterday. I'm 66 now, so it was like I said many, many moons ago.:D Johnnyt

Haven't seen her play but I've spoken to her and communicated via the web. Hoping to have the chance to match up with her sometime soon. She's one of the funniest writers I've read in years and I read her blog every week. Haven't checked out the work blog yet but it's on my list of things to do.

Q Masters last Saturday night after the finals. She was there watching us CCBers play! (at least there was an Asian woman there whom I was told was OMGWTF).

I met the Kaiser Soze of the pool world this earlier this year. I was at a tournament and on Sunday a friend of mine and I went to a pool room to sweat the local action. On a bar table in the front there was a young guy and girl playing partner 9 ball angainst two older guys.

I was kind of watching as I checked out the rest of the room when the girl got up to break..CRAAAAACKKK. 3 balls on break. I thought Damn. So me and my buddy start paying attention. The girl played good but broke 9 ball on the box amazing, always making 2 or 3 balls and not scratching.

My buddy says to me "Dude, that's OMGWTF." I'm like "Dude, she doesn't really exist. She's a forum legend, like back hand english, or civil discussion." He replies "Dude, she's real and that's her."

About the time we really start to disagree about this unicorn of the pool forum world, the girl in question (who happens to be attractive to boot)
walks up and says to me "Are you Justin ? I recogonize you from your pictures on AZ." That's when I said something I never ever thought I would say. In a too loud voice I said rather excitedly " You're Oh My God What The F#%K !!!!" How do I know it was too loud ? Cause the guys playing on the golf table were looking at me all crazy.

She just smiled and said "Yeah, that's me." We went on to have a nice conversation and she is a very cool girl. As we were walking out my friend looked at me and said "See dude, told you she was real." And he was right, now if I can just find that elusive back hand english, I'm not falling for the civil discussion myth....no matter what he says. :D :D

Brian...I've played OMGWTF many times, when she was going to UCLA. I did exhibitions several times there back in the late 90's and early 00's. I saw her at the Billiard expo that Jay Helfert put on, and she wanted to break into the WPBA then. I'm not sure if that's still part of her project, or not! :D

I live about 5 minutes away from there. They don't serve any alcohol there because of the windy roads:( .

Do you know who she is or are you making an inference to who she is? Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I did not think that OMGWTF went to UCLA.

Yes I know who she is, as well as several others on here. We have played many times. Yes, she did go to UCLA. Whether or not she finished, I don't know. She was defintely hanging out in the UCLA poolroom in at least 98, 99 and 2000. Apparently she prefers to remain anonymous here.
