U have onepkt action in beloit or chicago with me. We can play an all around. Bartable bigtable and onehole. 1000 a set on each.
At Brickyard billiards.
Hank called me today and said Justin and Skylor will get into town on Thursday to get ready for Friday.
This is going to be a great match and too bad it couldn't be streamed. I wish I had the setup to do this but I don't otherwise it would be streamed.
I don't know who i like in this little matchup here.
I know Justin is and has been playing at a really high level since he was about 17 when i met him in St Louis. This was back when i was first trying to play a little back in 2008.
I liked Justin back then and was hoping he could keep his life on line dealing with this pool world of ours.
These 2 young guns can have a little fun traveling and playing but it only takes a few bad matchups or a couple of days of not playing up to speed and the trip is over.
It's smart by having a backer in these matchups. You have someone to put up the money with the hopes of getting half. And these kids don't have to worry about going busted.
Justin plays good enough where someone is going to have to get an awful lot of weight to get his cash and Skylor is not far behind but needs allot of seasoning.
He will get there in a real hurry but the only time to practice getting seasoned is when your in the frying pan and someone is trying to cook you.
I'm sticking around for this matchup and going to bet a little $500 to $1000 sweat bet to watch.
I might even get a game myself.
My game in Evensville didn't work out today. Mark says the air conditioner is out at the pool hall. I told him I'd play tomorrow but he didn't seem too excited about that.
Told me he'd see me at the US Open. He's going there with a friend.
So much with my $1000 earn as I learn one pocket match. I don't know if I could have won but I was going to take a swing at it. i liked my chances for sure.
Other than that it's business as usual. I'm down to 185lbs and starting to feel my energy up all day long. I was really tired after i was done playing but I held up good during the 5 hour and actually felt real good at the end.
Skylor isn't going to Indy.
It looks like everything is all set for 4:00 at the Brickyard.
Bartram was there hitting balls all night and Bergman was no where in sight.
I reall don't know who to bet on but it should be a great match with some good money wagered.
I got the room for 3 more days now so i can still do a few more lessons before i go.
I wish both of these warriors the best of luck...........
Bet on the guy who beat you. If you can't money playing him then make money on him.
we spoke on the phone about the ac problem then tried to agree on another room and we both heard bad things about it and agreed thats not the place to play...when the ac is fixed game on or if u leave before then we could play at the open..i went to practice last night and it was over 80 deg...
It's OVER 80 degrees EVERY day in the Philippines!!! Didn't seem to bother Efren, Carlo, Buste, etc.....
So what's the problem?

Might head to Memphis to see if I can get this Muecci Cue that plays better than any other I have ever tried.
Chris Lawson, one of Bob Muecci's right hand men set up Bob Dickerson in Indy with one that plays great. It's solid like a southwest. Or maybe I should say the Southwest plays solid like a Muecci.
I have my old Muecci that feels the same but it's got a normal shaft. i won a lot of tournys with this back in the 80's and 90's.
I've been using a low deflection shaft for about 2 years now and found that there are some things I have trouble doing with them. This Muecci that Chris gave Bob I guess was chris's brain child and he's got a winner for sure. It's low deflection but still has many of the qualities of a normal maple shaft when manuevering the cue ball around.
Need to check tomorrow If I should drive down there or not but If I can get the cue the drive will be worth it.
All I'd need to do is put it in some players hands and they would be sold in a minute. It just makes the shot feel so easy and effortless.
But the best part I liked was the ball went right in the middle of the hole.
Perfect Aim and a cue that plays like that will be pretty awesome.
Then it's off to Greensboro, NC to play in a qualifier this weekend and then to the US Open.
Sounds like a plan, Stan
One man a van and the road, and Oh ya a Girl...............
Call Hank and figure out a date. If you get the new cue you will have to spot me on the bar table.
Be safe in your travels.
