On the Road with the Professor

Randi and I will be making our annual 10,000 mile trek in April. With notice I can do an exhibition, clinic and/or our power point presentation on The History of Pool anywhere on the mainland. My website will have much of the info: www.gradymathews.com . Lessons will also be available at that time.
We will be going from South Carolina all the way to the West Coast and back probably across the northern tier, finishing up in New England. Some of the states that I am already scheduled to appear in are Tennessee, Ohio, Michigan, California, Washington, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire. This is always a lot of fun and we look forward to meeting lots of new people.
If you are interested, or know of anyone who may be interested in having us visit, be sure to email me at grady101@sc.rr.com.

Where and when will you be in Michigan?

Steve

Some time in April, we plan to be in Livonia. I try to never miss a chance to visit my friend Steve Lamako at The Rack. We may also go to the western part of the state.

Hello.. I would like to know when and what part of Ohio will you be commint to? Thank you.

OH and WA

Cincinnati and Columbus so far are in our plans for Ohio. In Washington, we have Tacoma tentatively on schedule for early to mid April.

Hi Mr. Mathews,

When do you think you will be in New Hampshire and Rhode Island? I'm in MA, and would love :D to attend one of your exhibitions.

Me too!

Grady,

Where are you going in NH? I would love to visit with you. I wish I still had my room and I would book you like the old days. Scary but there are fewer pool rooms in this area than I ever remember.

If you have not seen Grady in person it is like nothing you have ever seen. He makes everyone feel comfortable and there are no silly questions. If you are looking for trick shots, watch a Massey show (another unforgettable treat). Grady gives you pool. He shows you shots, english, banks and on and on. I learned a safety from him at one of the shows that I use all the time with very good results.

Keep us posted.

schedule

As we firm up the dates and places, we'll post it on the website. (www.gradymathews.com) I don't want to make promises I can't keep so just stay tuned. Meanwhile, email me names and phone numbers of places near you that might want to host a clinic or exhibition. I work hard to make it worth their while. We look forward to seeing as many of you AZers as possible.

> Where in Tennessee are you planning to be? Hopefully we can get together again somewhere, the U.S. Open trip in '95 was an amazing experience. Tommy D.

I hope I am up there and settled by then, would be great to see you again.

To me this feels like back in the day when Mosconi and the like would travel and do exhibitions. I wasn't around for that, but I WILL NOT miss Gradys tour. Pool may be in a slight down trend, but there has got to be more than enough following to keep grady and crew on the road all year!

I can't wait, and if some of you all want to get together to have Grady do a 1 pocket clinic near me in PA., I'm donating!

Grady,
If you find yourself travelling near the Canton area. Stop by Fiddlestix Billiard Cafe. The Owner (Chris Szuter) is known to engage in a friendly game of stakes playing 1pkt. A lot of the time he will take the worst end of it just to play legends of the game in his room.
