One Pocket is so slow....

1-Pocket is so slow....

You'd better hurry up and shoot, February has only 28 days in it, ya know!

One pocket is so slow by the time John or Lou finish their match to win $10,000. Dr. Evil will be laughing at them.

"ONE MILLION DOLLARS"

One pocket is so slow we created a drinking game to sober up. You can't drink until someone makes a ball.

1-P is so slow....

What took you so long?

Well, before I could finish the match, I had to change the tires on the cue ball.

One pocket is so slow.....

...the first 5-ahead started before ^ letters were invented..

They're still at it...:boring2:

You got that wrong....

The first

1p is so slow they search the pool rooms for 1p players, to be extras on The Walking Dead.

1p is so slow that they offer a 3-week package on the live stream.

1p is so slow that by the time I spotted up the ball I owed, it had turned to dust.

I didn't have time to read all 200 posts so if someone has already said this, never mind.
The majority of pool games seem to heavily favor the person who can pocket balls.
At high levels, some of the luck and bad play is eliminated .
However , even in high level matches you often see one player who is constantly out of line on balls and still gets out due to there being 6 pockets to choose from.
I believe one pocket was invented at least in part , to punish poor play.
It is a game where the best shooter does not have to win.
I understand that it is not for everyone , any more than bridge is for hold em players.
What I don't understand is why we should change the game to make it better for the guys who pocket balls better?
They already have 9 ball and 10 ball and a host of other games.
If television were to ever embrace pool I might change my mind but until then , why not leave 1 game to the people who find beauty in a game where you can use your imagination a little.

Side note: anyone else find it ironic that the person who answers while admittedly not reading the thread is a book collector? Lol

I love 1p but this thread is really funny.

Ip is so slow......

I saw a turtle take a Valium to get himself ready for his match......
