One Pocket WWYD

Cut bank the 4 softy back towards my pocket, leaving whitey bhind the 8 ball.

OR

Med hit rail first with low right and kick the 4 out of there, leaving whitey where the 4 was.

Thin off the nine down to the lower right pocket, if I can. It's hard to tell.

If the pockets were tighter, I'd bank the one and leave the cueball on the rail.

I like this idea.

Funny, I looked it over, and before I saw any replies my thought was putting the CB by the upper pocket on my side, but .. in addition, I'm a little nuts so I think I'd get there with a little inside english kissing the nine of the top of the five banking it back to my side. Looks like you could hit this shot pretty firm.

Another option but some good ones mentioned.

Ok, wiseguy..:)...I believe you're kicking at it.....up and down table...
...catch the second rail and catch the 4 softly....
....I usually miss the 4 and leave him behind it....
...losing a ball is worth it.

Some players would jump and make the 4 and stick whitey...but not me.

Yep, I don't see much else:D.

Depends on how much of the four you can hit I can't tell if you can see enough of it use a tip of high outside and over cut the four across playing your cue ball on the other side rail. If that shot is not possible I'd kick top rail with right english changing the angle to come in to the side rail and hopefully either hit the four or get under it

Now if the one was not on side rail I'd get aggressive and bank the nine into the rail then the top of the four two railing the cue ball up table on my opponent side

It looks like the cue ball is in an awkward position that does not allow any good shot on the 4 ball.

Depending on exactly how the balls are sitting, you may be able to shoot full on the 6, 7 or 11 and stop the cue ball frozen against against a ball. Fail to freeze and your opponent runs out.

I don't like pushing out to the head rail for a straight-in on the 1 since it looks like my opponent can shoot the 4 from there.

If the 8 does not go past the 4 to my opponent's pocket, I might try some kind of shot off the 1 to leave it on my side and leave the cue ball on the middle of the head rail.

Maybe play the 9 ball one-rail to the back of the 4 moving both of them to your side. Leave the cue ball somewhere on the head rail.

Can't really tell from pics but most likely im banking 4 ball and leaving it 2,3 inches max from tittie on the long rail by you pocket while driving cue ball into the 8-12 leaving cue ball froze to the 13-14 in the stack.

If not able to see 4 ball properly for that shot, im at least def kicking rail first and moving 4 ball with leaving cue frozen to bottom rail and hopefully tittie hooking you inside your pocket as well ( depending on how the table plays).

hmmmm this is the first one of these iv gotten into. usually enjoy without participating. I like banking the nine ball under the eleven trying to carom it near or into my pocket above center and very level on cue ball to bring it as near to the second diamond on my side used the stack to block the four. Yes the pockets look large but thats to your advantage also especially with the natural you get from the rail for the nine.

Set this layout up and move the 9-ball slightly so you can bank the 4-ball.

Let me know how many times you DON'T double kiss.

Given those gapers, it'll probably be pocketed more than double-kissed.

Still a good move imo if whitey gets up there along that rail.

I think the all of the W1P and SMS shots have been discussed except:

Draw down off the 1-ball, hugging the cushion (without scratching of course).

Very good break. If the cueball were frozen to the left cushion, it'd be perfect.

Freddie <~~~ would flub it

If you shoot the 11-3 to freeze the cue ball on top or at least near the 6 on this side. What run out shot does your opponent have? Keep in mind if hit perfect the 3 will contact the 2 and drive it into the rail and back out to on the 14. The 3 should then go to the bottom rail and create another cluster.

I think the 11-3 is the best of the "freeze-em on the stack" shots available. If possible, do not leave a shot off the 9.

I'll opt for the safe

After the break, score 0-0. Your pocket is lower left.

Have only read the first few posts but I would opt for a safe here.

I wanna hit that 9 ball (looks like it won't let CB pass w/o a scratch), OR hit the 11 ball reallllll thin. That sends the cb up-table and on the left (my) side. I like leaving my opp off-angle & long here, if I execute proper all he MAY have is a thin one on the 8 ball. he goes for it & misses, CB lands down near his pocket giving me a feast.

Nice to see someone else with "doughnut holes" on their table !
