WOW
That is a beautiful looking old school Scruggs. I wish I wouldn`t have spent so much money on X-mas presents or this baby would be all mine. Its a player for sure. GL with your sale.
Jeff

I just got this cue back
Iwas thinking what a shame for me not to have one after all the Scruggs
cues that I had,but I already put it up here

The truth is I don't have the collector mentality, wish I did

To the point

Many of you are asking me to trade,I don't want to trade for just anything,
It would take a South west cue

Possibly Szamboti or something hard to get

So unless its something this desirable I only want cash
consider the $2200 firm unless you are a repeat customer or someone I owe a favor

This really is a great cue for someone to play with and cherish forever

I hav a good friend that has basically the same cue...different stain though...and it is awesome.

He uses some kinda LD shaft on it though. Thanks for reminding me that I gotta get together with him to kick him for being a dum-ass!

I had a cue almost exactly like this one, but it had ivory diamonds in the points and butt-sleeve, and no hoppe ring. And it played. Someone will grab a true player with this cue.

I'm almost positive that I was the original owner of this cue and it played great.

Assuming it is the same one (see my pics below), the forearm is NOT stained. It is just a gorgeous piece of honey colored birdseye maple.

Good luck with the sale, Dean. It was great talking with you this week.

Scott

thanks scott
you are right about the honey colored and plays great,
the cue sure looks like mine

its funny how a certain cue begins to be a collectible,
what i mean is this
this cue has been owned by several people
all who agree it hits great
and the cue still looks 1 week old

i owned it twice
it looked so good i never took it to the pool room
i guess i didn't want to be the first to damage it

this cue was meant to be played with,i hope one of you guys that really want a great cue to play with, while getting the upside of it being a scruggs

i am reminded of what the prices on peterson did
and they never hit like a scruggs

tim if you are reading this, there are plenty of people who still miss you making cues
you are surely one of the very best ever

dean

I loked at the pictures beside my cue and it looks the same, but
the green is not as loudas the pictures show
i think it is the cue

Why I have owned this Cue twice!

Only sold to go bigger. Georgous Hopp. This may be the same Cue I sold to Mr. Dean a while back. I am not positive.
I didn't wipe this Cue dwon before taking the pictures. I know because I never do that. It was flawless. Excuse my sloppy pictures.

Anyone looking to start a collection of smaller end Tim Scruggs cues should jump on this. Simple and eloquent...a real "looker"!

Not too mention a four veneer cue as well...

I guess its official TimScruggs,
one of the top 3 o4 best cue makers to ever make a cue,
is retired abd our chances of getting a cue are over

When Mike Cochran passed away,I tried to encourage Tim to continue
I posted a thread to get Tim some orders

You az people responded 87 of you placed an order for a scruggs

It was not meant to be
Tim was overcome with emotion to see how many people cared

Voted here on az as one of the two best hitting cues in the world

I could go on
I am not reducing the price, but I am giving someone.only one of you
an opportunity to own this SPLENDID EXAMPLE of Tim's
purest pool cue
The rosewood Hoppe

You think you can find a better one
dream on

I have no fancy words to make you buy,if you need semantic embellishment to create a desire fort this perfect cue,you won't find it here

call me if you want it
