Passing of Raist Chin aka Titlistsucker

Rest in peace, Raist.

I had an aunt that passed from bone cancer. It was the most horrible thing to see. Thank God he's out of his pain.

God bless him and his family, what a true hero he is to not only pool players, but to any person! I think what he did for his team deserves coverage in all billiard magazines, even on the news... that is absoloutely extraordinary. It shows what the human spirit is capable of. Tate, thanks again for posting that article about him earlier. He is truly an inspiration. Incredible human being. May his legacy live on, I know hes looking down on us right now from heaven. Raist, you are a true hero!!!

Passing Of Raist Chin

R.I.P. Raist, my condolences to the family. You are in my prayers
God Bless,
Charlie

His pain is over and he is now at peace and free from the grips of that horrible disease. His courage was an inspiration to me - as well as many other cancer survivors that are members of this and other forums. I will miss his e-mails and I will definitely miss his smile.

RIP Raist.

It is heartwarming to see the respect from our AZ family going out to a most deserving member.

Rest in peace and without the pain you have endured over the past months. You will be sorely missed, Raist.

keith, sherri and i will keep raist and his family in our thoughts and prayers. i offer a prayer for them:

Most faithful God, lively is the courage of those who hope in You. Your servant Raist suffered greatly, but placed his trust in Your mercy. Confident that the petition of those who mourn pierces the clouds and finds an answer, we beg You, give rest to Raist. Do not remember his sins, but look upon his sufferings and grant him refreshment, light, and peace. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

RIP

Raist, you touched so many lives in your short lifetime and you will not be forgotten. Your exemplary courage in the face of a daunting disease will be remembered. Even up to the end you did not want to be a burden on your family...even though I am sure they would have gladly paid the price to enjoy just a few more months with you. You were truly a class act and I am glad your suffering is over. Rest in peace and make sure to knock a few around with the other greats up there. :)

My thoughts and prayers reach out to your friends and family.

Linda

My condolences to Raist's family, I had a trip to Singapore this July and planned to see him in person, its a deep regret to me that I decided not to just because some stupid reasons, Raist is really a nice guy to talk to, may he rest in piece...

If you can measure a man's wealth by the number of friends he has then Raist was certainly the richest man in Singapore. My condolences to his family. He will be missed by me and I will remember him every time I use the fine cues I bought from him.

Chris,

Thanks for sharing. Raist is truly an inspiration for all, and we hold him in our thoughts and prayers. You are a wonderful friend, thoughtful and caring.

Will

I delt with and knew Raist briefly, I am sorry for his demise, but I know he was truly a good person and he will be watching over us and these forums throughout eternity with a smile on his face. God bless you Raist.

It was an honour for me to know him ever since I started out playing. More often than not I would find some shots that he had taught me that would come in handy most of the time. His neverending selflessness was a great attribute that many seek for, and I for one, have been touched by his act of courage and determination.

You will be remembered Raist. R.I.P
