IMHO 80.00 BUCKS for a 45minute DVD is about 60.00 BUCKS too much, and the first one were not correct, so if you wanted a correct one it was another 10.00 BUCKS!!!!!
BTW the first ones were "correct" but he wanted to improve on the production as a stand alone DVD, meaning they were initially intended to go along with a lesson. He improved on the DVD, added new material, and asked that people spend 10 bucks to upgrade instead of just releasing a new and improved version and charging full price like most people do. You dont HAVE to get the new dvd to get the meat of the information.

Thanks for the head up about the first batch of DVD's. There is more to playing Pool well then know how to AIM.
And no one has ever said there's not. In all of the threads I have read, or people I have talked to about aiming, I cant think of a single one that has said "learn this and you will automatically become a great player. Obviously the game is much deeper than simply aiming.
But there is information out there that can help people pocket balls more consistently. If you watch the largest majority of pool players this is an area that almost everyone could use a little help.
I can also say that you can have all the other pieces of the puzzle (cueball control, patterns, kicking, jumping, solid stroke, good fundamentals, etc) but if you dont have a solid understanding of sighting and aiming, and know which one works best for you, then your game will hit a ceiling that is hard to break through. And you will have higher peaks and lower valleys than those who do it properly.
A few lucky people do it naturally. The rest of us have to learn how to do it, which usually means hitting thousands upon thousands of balls. Aiming is like any other fundamental, you can learn to do it without instruction, it will just take you a lot more table time to get there. And even then it may not take you as far as you could have gotten with some help.
Is this Hal Houle system? Hal dose have a few systems. CTE and P and P and the systems using english to pocket. So do you have something better than Hal and Ronnie V?![]()
If genomachino could guarantee me for $80.00 I would be an "A" Player I would buy his system, but there is more to playing Pool than AIMING.

What part of "It's not an aiming system" don't you understand?

Not to speak for Gene, but I have spoken with Hal in the past and have had a chance to learn some of what Gene is teaching (still havent had a chance to view the entire video though) and Gene's is NOT Hals systems.
I wouldnt really call perfect aim a system so to speak, it is more learning about proper sighting of the shots if I understand it correctly. Its about getting your head and eyes in the correct place to see the shots isnt it Geno?
