Hi All, I'm going to be in Portland OR and surrounding areas for a few days next week. Time permitting, I'd like to get out and play a little... any suggestions of good places to play? Weekly tournaments? Thanks for the help!

Classic Billiards on SE 122d and Powell Blvd is the room
where the players go in Portland.

If you venture a little further south to Salem, Oregon
(about 45 minutes) go to Cue Ball and expericence the
feel of days long gone as all the tables in there are
either 9' Brunswick Anniversary's or Centennials.

KC s Midway

Kcs Midway in Oregon City has two Sat. tourneys. One starts at noon, I believe, and the 2nd starts around 7 pm. Call to confirm these times because I am not 100% sure if times are correct.
Oregon City is a suburb of Portland, southeast of the city.

Hope this helps :)

KCs has 7 foot diamonds.

Yep,

Classic Billiards is where to go to find the players. Bill Cress, Glenn Atwell, John Moribido, Brad Gowin, Russ Pettis, Little Scotty, etc.

If you go to www.onthebreaknews.com, you can find some of the weekly tournaments in that area.

When are you going out there? My brother lives out there. He plays 14.1 a bit better than me. He doesn't play as much but he ran a 70 this year. You want me to hook you up with him?

And if you make it to Oregon city be sure to stop by the Acropolis for a great steak :winknudge:
