i'll tell you a little story
one morning i was in his shop ,
got the brilliant idea of cleaning up his main lathe, it needed it
i wiped the bed down with some thinner, then rubbed some oil on it
OMG!! HOLY SHIT!!!!
when he realized what i did he went off like a rocket
thought he was gonna blow a gasket
so, if anyone else goes to dennis',
DO NOT OIL LATHE BED
