How about this - does anyone know which table is the TV table - it wouldnt be table 3 would it?

Hi Guys,
Good question - thought we had answered it but ...
The Tournament Director treats the TV table as just another table in the draw.
Pat has a limited selection to choose from at each round and many times has to wait for the next round to be flowcharted before WE even know what is available.
Given OUR druthers we would ALWAYS want the best matchups on the Arena table.
Given that, and the many good and logical comments about knowing the schedule BEFORE committing money to a PPV without knowing what you are paying for, I am trying to keep the schedule updated on the Accu-Stats front page. http://www.accu-stats.com/
Always current and up-to-date? Most of the time. Pat finds out - Pat tells me - I post it for you.

Okay I like Santos and the way he plays, I've been betting on him all the way through...hope he pulls it out for his confidence his game has slipped a ways.
Trust me, Skess. Of all the matches in a particular time slot, Pat will absolutely always find the best matchup for the TV table.
I appreciate that you may not know ahead of time who will be on the streaming table (although this is NOT ok for the tournament promoter. Especially at a major event like the US Open, distribution and marketing of this tournament and pool in general ought to be taken seriously.) However, it would appear that at 12:41pm you still don't know who is playing at 11? Accu-Stats needs to do their part too. My assumption is that there is *NO* broadcast right now, since you haven't figured out who was playing. Too bad too, since I was eager to get the stream at 11 ;-)

Well, I think you can very safely assume that there will *always* be a stream going for the duration of this event; the only question is who's on it.
If you bought the PPV, you know there's going to be something on.

Some people just don't get it though.
Communication between a tournament director(the one doing the flow chart and sending out the matches) and a broadcaster is something that is greatly misunderstood.
They are 2 different people doing different things for different people !
TD's can get frustrated with players and spectators hawking and askin for info while he/she is tring their best to keep things going smooth.
The broadcaster is hoping that the TD can work with them in getting good matches to show on the TV table.
If all this comes together smoothly TD get matches out smoothly and broadcaster gets the info quickly.
Must be easy with 256 players and how many fans speaking different languages ! Try it sometime.:wink:
