I've rewrapped many of the cues I've owned that had irish linen wraps and I always wrote my name and city I live in on the handle before I rewrapped the cue. If someone tried to steal my cue and it came down to it I could remove the linen wrap and show the cue was marked with my name under the wrap and it would prove the cue belonged to me. This wouldn't work on a leather wrapped cue, but since I can do my own linen wraps it works fine on linen wrapped cues. Linen wraps aren't that expensive to replace if you have a cue that you plan to keep and you want to mark it without your name showing anywhere on the cue unless the wrap is removed.easy-e said:What do you think the best way to mark your cue is? Better to carry it around with you than to leave it lying around where it might walk off. I once had a cuetec that walked out the door. Probably the best thing that happened to me, but I was sad when it happened.
