I would like to hear stories of well know players playing on your home table.Scotty Towsend played at my house wearing cowboy boots, cut off bluejean shorts and no shirt and drank a case of beer in 4 hours. It was over 100 outside and the air wasn't keeping the pool room cold.

The Man was thirsty! Back off!!!:D

Max Eberle came over to my house and beat on me once...was the only one to come over and leave winner, ever. I still had fun.

Danny Harriman came over to my house last weekend to open his book of knowledge. He was very down to Earth, polite, professional and just a great guy to visit with. Also he gave me some good instruction.

Great, it will take at least till lunch to get that image out of my head, sounds like a start to a gay porn video :grin:

I have a pro at my house. He's been trying out this new cue stick. He complains that this one here has too much forward balance, and it doesn't have the "hit" he's looking for.

:scratchhead:

And what do you think of his new stick? Is the hit okay?:bash:

At my main pool hall, I see Danny Diliberto almost everyday. He's a super nice guy and always gives me tips on what I'm doing wrong. At the other pool hall in my area I see Dennis Hatch almost every time I play there. He's usually giving lessons, really nice guy also.

Keith is under qualified for that type of Pool. IMHO.

I've had the following pros play on my home table: Max Eberle, Oscar Dominguez, Danny Harriman, Mike Davis, Nick Varner, John Schmidt, and Dennis Orcollo.

LOL! Thanks for reminding me why I live here. It's much easier to watch it drain away
than have to shovel it...

I've never owned a snow shovel, never will. No pro has ever been to my house, would probably not know what to do without a table.
:D

I believe with some confidence that I'm the best pool player who's ever set foot in my house. Really should get a table, which would give me a reason to change that pattern (and it wouldn't take me long).

I have a Brunswick Century 9-foot table with ball return, I'll sell you cheap. The moving expense, dismantling and setting it up, can be hefty. :)

I just want my basement back. :o

Well, my post was a bit misleading. If I had the room for it, I'd have one already.

I didn't have a table at my apartment in Texarkana,TX. but did have many Pro's & Semi-Pro's stay there for a few days to a couple weeks sometimes.

Scotty Townsend was one of them, we are good friends and your right, he likes to get Oiled -Up !:)
