Pro Players and Tattoo's

Yes, wall papered tattoo's is just What we need for the young kids to look-up to and copy in their champions sports.

Agreed......100%.
Just nasty crap......
We don't need more b.s and disgracefulness in this sport.

Wow. The ignorance of some people can still surprise me.

So let me get this straight, you think somebody with tattoo's, playing pool, is disgraceful to the sport, or perhaps is B.S.? PLEASE explain to me how somebodys expression of art is disgracing an entire "sport", and going to ruin the youth looking up to pool players with tattoos.

It's people like you two that are a disgrace, assholes that have nothing better to do but pass judgement on someone you don't even know.

You two can get F U C K E D. Hope you guys don't go to Vegas in July, tons of tattoo'd trash playing pool, might make you guys fall over dead from disgust.

I have both shoulders tattooed and am working on a full back piece - I also have a college degree and a well paying job in corporate America. My fiancée has a doctorate and a full back piece and leg tattoo.

You can't see any of our tattoos while we're at work, but on the weekends is a different story. I guess that we'd qualify for the "freak show' category that you referenced.

Don't worry though if we ever meet you, we're not judgmental, we'll just look at the fact that you don't have tattoos as what it is, a personal choice - we won't think any less of you for it.

Tattoos still rub some people the wrong way I guess...Many people still have the oldschool views on how tattoo's mirror one's character, which is a shame.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure some people live up to the negative portrayal of having them, but my generation (under 30) is certainly changing that.

I work for a Fortune 75 company, have full sleeves and wear short sleeve polo's and dress shirts to work almost every day. My boss has tattoos, many directors in the company do as well. Not once has that slowed me down, or cost me a promotion... go figure. It's the person, their attitude and work ethic they care about, not how you look.

You were doing good til the last two sentences. That is what got you the vacation.

I am in favor of tattoos. I think ALL idiots should be permanently marked.

What an enlightened viewpoint ..... care to share your views on anything else - race, religion, politics? Would love to hear your stance on those, I find your complete lack of bias to be a breath of fresh air in today's world of labeling and stereotypes.

(That was sarcasm by the way - I worked on that paragraph for hours between serving fries.)

I can't remember many #'s from 50+ years ago. I had at least 5 MOS's while in service. I believe 2 or three were in the low 600's. Truck mechanic, track mechanic, tank mechanic, trained with cold weather special forces...all at Wianright. At Greely (Artic Test Center) I tested a lot of stuff, like the M-15 rifle, tanks, multi fuel trucks, and a few other things. Two weeks after discharge my whole unit from Wainright was sent to nam. None returned as far as I could find. Johnnyt

What pro pool players? Didn't know that was a real thing, thought it was just a myth.:D But seriously, if the U.S. would support a pro tour, I wouldn't give a shite if they're tatted up. More power to them. Tattoos are mainstream now, and it doesn't look like they're going anywhere, anytime real soon. It seems like the tattooed freaks get more acceptance than pool players anyhow.

I hope pro pool players don't start putting tattoo's all over their body like the rest of the sports world. I can remember paying a dime or quarter to get in the freak shows at carnies, and one of the freaks was always someone covered in tattoo's. I can see a few, but the whole body covered in them looks gross to me. Johnnyt

Who cares what the big, burly guy you play pool with looks without a shirt on!? I sure don't! I personally don't think being wallpapered with tattoos looks good on anyone, but that is a matter of taste, of course. If that is what people want to look like, go for it.

I dated a girl that had one really nice tattoo, done by a real artist, that followed her lines and curves. It was beautiful. Then I saw her again a couple of years ago and she is covered in tattoos....To me it's like plastic surgery. One or two jobs by a brilliant surgeon can make you look like a million bucks, 30 surgeries by different surgeons can make you look like a freaky mess. I don't know the girl in the picture btw, lol.

Tattoo

I have the red and blue stripe barber pole tattoo, but I can't show it without risk of arrest for indecent exposure. I shook it at a referee one time for calling a bad foul and got disqualified from the tournament.

Back when I was in the navy and in Hong Kong we had some one from our ship who got a barber poll tattooed on there dick. USS Sample DE1048

That was back in the 70's wonder how many people in the world have barber poll tattooed on there dick................

Wouldn't that look great in a pool magazine
