If I'm reading this correctly, my aim point is between each of yours. From any corner, aim for the cue ball to strike the first rail exactly at the point of the 1st diamond past the side pocket. It does not work if you shoot "through" either the 1st or the 2nd diamond past the side pocket.
I have just shot it a few times from each corner, and I placed a piece of chalk (Taom, of course) at the point of aim (shoot "through" the chalk). This works for me, using medium speed and slight running english. See picture below with blow up inset of chalk position. Seems that there may be some variance in tables. Environmentally, it is maintained 72 or 73 degrees and the humidity is maintained at 45%.
