I've often said that some of the ridiculous comments regarding pro players & cue builders may scare some of them away from being contributing members here. Just like saying that certain cues play like crap. Pro pool players are human beings, and they do deserve a little slack when talking about them, if we want them posting on this great forum. How would you like to be a pro player or well respected cue builder on AZB for the first time, and see something negative posted about you? Or you happen to be a pro player or cue builder's father, reading a bunch of nonsense about your son, who has been building great cues for 25-years. Wasn't it great when SVB's parents got on here after Shane won the US Open?
This is a very interesting forum, and some of the best threads have been started by, or contributed to, by pro pool players or top cue builders.

Danny came on here, explained what happened, and overcame a huge obstacle in the healing process.
As much as it pains me to say this, I have to thank Micah for making Danny overcome that obstacle. Even though I still disagree that he brought it to public attention, and didn't mean any "ILL Will". I dont have to comment on that, because Blackjack pretty much summed that up.

The post (first thread) lacked class and wasnt well thought out, but it wasnt slanderous.. it was/is factual....
DOnt get it twisted.. I aint saying that I would have made the post "calling" Danny's past out...but the act of doing it isnt criminal.. classless sure...but not liable

There is always a sleezeball lawyer anxious to take your case. For a percentage of what he can settle it for.
Please don't anyone misunderstand. There are many good lawyers in this country, who are quite responsible in how they deal with the law. Unfortunately for them, there are many other lawyers who give the profession a bad name.
Criminal, certainly not. Civil, who knows??? Do you? I've seen suits make it into court on a whole lot less. Wilson made the right call here.
at the risk of enraging a lot of regulars here and the mods, i have to say i think banning him again is pathetic.
he's served his (arguably very harsh) punishment by being banned for a however many weeks it was, and he has apologised in this very thread for originally bringing up what he did about Danny.
all he did was start a polite thread with his thoughts about the issue now he was free to post again. like i said before, it's all very well saying the issue is old now and time has moved on, but he was the one banned for how many weeks. it's only human nature for him to want to voice his thoughts now he was back.
quite frankly i think this public pillaging and slandering which has gone on is miles more childish and immature than what he did in the first place. not to mention at the heart of it all there's supposed to be a lot of christians around here, as is Danny himself. And isn't forgiveness a key part of being a christian?
