RIP Chad "Big Nasty" Pollman

I'm shocked. My condolences to all of his family and friends and his family in the pool world. He was always upbeat and funny and I will miss him. My thoughts are with Justin and the rest of his close friends here. We will miss you big guy.

Chad was one of the founders of TAR - and I am also speechless.
Just talked to him 3 days ago about setting up some leagues in his area.

I really don't know how to respond.

Justin and Chad were TIGHT for a lot of years.

SHIT

Horrible news....

Condolences to his family, and his pool family.

Wow, so sad....

Maybe at some time, someone very dear to Chad (JCIN?) would like to start a new thread where people could post their fondest memories/experiences and post pic's as well. Chad touched a lot of people here and I am unaware of anyone saying an unkind word about the well respected and well liked man. I still can't believe it... :( RIP big guy.

If not for his short stint at Dakota Cue Club, I might not have picked this game up. He HOOKED UP my little bro (the way he did most people) with a cue and case, to get him started.

The pool World just lost another important piece of it's culture. He probably making angle's post up as we type...

We'll miss ya Big Nasty!

Wow. I'm really bummed to hear this. Though I only had a chance to hang with Chad a couple of times, i thought he was a straight up dude. Young guy, too. I don't think he was quite 40 yet.

RIP, Darth Vader.

Just turned 40 back in November if I remember correctly.

Very sad. My thoughts are with his friends and family including Justin and others at TAR.

Chad was one of those 'larger than life' people.
I thought he would be round forever.....RIP

extremely sad news. I never had the pleasure of meeting Chad in person but we spoke on the phone several times about matches, players, action, etc.....

I never heard a bad word about him and in the pool world that is a rare bird indeed. RIP big guy.

Life is fragile folks. Live each day like it's your last and appreciate what you have. Love those around you, and don't take anything for granted.
