RIP Chad "Big Nasty" Pollman

sure did enjoy when chad was doing commentary for TAR. sad day in TAR nation

Brutal... he did not post often but when he did it was usually worth reading.

I am just crushed by this news. I have counted Chad as a good friend since we first met in 2007 in Olathe at the first TAR match, and looked forward to seeing him and spending a little time each January at Louisville DCC.

Heart of gold. Friendly, outgoing, one of the real gems of the pool world.

I will have Chad`s loved ones in my thoughts and prayers. And to the people whose lives he closely touched like Justin, Beav, Shane, Andy and everyone, I will be thinking of you.

I am very deeply saddened, just stunned, shocked.

Devastated by the loss of my pool and life mentor, Chad Pollman. You could call him Big Chad, Big Nasty, Uncle Pollski, Pollman, or the greatest human being I have ever met. We shared some amazing road trips together and were smiling every minute. He was a person you could never forget once you met him. Rest in peace brother, I will be good. - T Grande.

Rest In Peace Big Nasty! My deepest condolences to family friends & TAR-nation.

Sad sad day.

RIP Chad "Big Nasty" Pollman. It was an honor to meet you and you will be missed by many in the pool community. You were a true innovator for pool with your influence in founding TAR. I'm sure the TAR legacy will continue to flourish and we have you to thank for that. I will miss calling you Darth Vador in the booth! ;)

See ya again sometime.

The Friday afternoon golf game will never be the same without the banter that Chad brought to the table. That chair at the end of the bar has never been so empty. So sad. You were the best pool frienemy a guy could ask for. You will be missed brother.

Big Nasty!

My sincere condolences go out to Chad's family, and the entire Pool community!
One of the true innovators of taking Pool mainstream!
Special condolence goes out to all of the TAR family, a great loss.
All live Stream's will be remembered by Chad, and Justin's hard work!
Regards,
Greg

I didn't know the man, but I do feel awful about his passing. My condolences to his family and friends.

Shane just posted that Nasty passed away from a heart attack this morning. The world is a lesser place today and one of the most entertaining people i've ever known is gone. I spent a lot of time with Chad and when my father was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer, Chad sent care packages of TAR matches and shirts to him and called often to check on how I was. I can't express the sadness I feel at this time. He will most definitely be remembered by me fondly. I'll miss you brother!
Sorry, man. He is in a better place for sure.
