Ripped off by a guy named Rocinante on the forum (please read)

ROFL I didn't even catch that. Geezes....man a guy would stoop so low to compliment himself using two accounts to show credibility. Thats just ridiculous.

You STILL haven't gotten that cue?

I hate to tell you, but I think Mr. Rocinante has officially screwed you. There is absolutely no valid reason for it to take this long after he got your money...it sounds to me like we know who one thief is.

I'd be going after him with every Federal, State and local agency I could muster by now. It may only be $400.00, but I'd make sure that $400 was NOT worth it for him....I'd become an absolute never-ending nightmare for him.

You are dead wrong, pal. Digitalcrack was sent a cue and it was allegedly lost in the mail. What none of you people realize is I sent this guy a replacement cue free of charge since I was the one who made the mistake of not insuring it. That is the only thing I'm guilty of. The replacement cue is on the way to him and I have a delivery confirmation number. So although your advice may be good for someone who got "screwed" as you so eloquently put it, that is surely not the case here.

Just like you allegedly sent me a money order..... Man, I'm glad I sold that cue, even though I am a scammer..... I'd still be waiting by the mailbox on you!!

Give the guy some credit, at least he hasn't denied that he and RTW5150 are one in the same. :D

That's like thanking a man for not robbing the bank!

Let's give the man the benefit of the doubt for now.

But look, if this matter isn't settled, soon, and in the right way, I would like to see this sellers name and address published right here, and the IP address banned. These threads are registered with Google. That way others might be protected too if they do a search for the sellers name.

We'll see...

Uh-huh...just like the money order to 1pRoscoe?

Yeah, you seem to have a lot of "bad luck" with the post office....dude, in my years I have had the "pleasure" of dealing with a hell of a bunch of people just like you. Always an excuse, always a reason why this didn't get out out, or that didn't get out, always something "lost in the mail"....

I've been doing business on one level or another for over 30 years. I've never had anything "lost in the mail", except one letter years ago that finally did show up. I NEVER had a parcel lost, nor do I know anyone who has legitimately had one lost. When you take the parcel to the counter at the post office, the clerk verifies that everything is OK and you have sufficient postage and the address is complete. Even if you don't personally take it to the post office, if you have enough intelligence to address it correctly and pay sufficient postage it WILL get to it's destination. If it doesn't for some reason, if you have enough intelligence to put an accurate RETURN address on it, it will come back to you and you can try again. Simple as that. You need to find another excuse. Nobody has as many things get lost in the mail as you claim you do.

It's just like the people that write you a bad check and then try to convince you it's that bank's fault. 99.9% of the time, it's bullshit. It's always "There must be something wrong with my checking account..."
Damned right...there ain't no goddamned money in it.

If you really sent it and it was really "lost in the mail", you WOULD have some correspondence between you and the post office to support your claim. Why don't you scan it and post it here?

Save it. I don't believe you and neither does anyone else. We've heard it all before....weak-assed lies and excuses....

I don't give a rat's fat ass what you beleive. I had a problem with a guy and I made it right. He will have a replacement cue sometime this week. (currently en route) I have nothing to prove to you or anyone else (other than digitalcrack) once he receives the shipment I'm sure he'll be happy and you can go stick your opinion up your ass.

What I believe is you were NOT a VERY SMART SELLER, as if you were you would have Sent your Sold Cue, Insured, & Whit a Signature Required for Delivery.

Plus you SHOULD have SAVED A COPY of you Paper Work, so if the Cue was Lots or Damaged, you could File an Insurance Claim with the Shipper, and Refund The Money, and Recoup you Loss...

IMO.... ;)

BTW if it upset you so much to reply to all these posts, maybe you and the Buyer should have communicated between one another, and not told the , World, "you can go stick your opinion up your ass."

Gerald, I think you should contact the states' atty's office and sue him for emotional distress, or possibly libel. This is just unacceptable.

Is it a coincidence, or what, That in your last post you were hawking a 19.1 oz Scruggs sneaky pete. This thread is also pertaining to a 19.1 oz Scruggs sneaky pete. It's a small world eh?

I tried to point that out, about three weeks ago. The only response I got, was "sqeak squeak", from BlackBalled. Maybe he though I was being a rat, I don't know, or care. I like most of the people here and don't want to see any of them, getting ripped off by anyone. I also feel that having two screen names, so one can vouch for the other, is deplorable.

Hey...maybe so! :)

Actually, I don't care enough about this guy to get stressed over it. It just pisses me off to see people intentionally screwing people over, then expecting everyone to just "give them the benefit of the doubt" and buy all their weak-assed excuses.

Anyone can have a problem with business deals once in a while, but this crap has been rocking on for weeks and Digitalcrack STILL doesn't have his fucking cue in his hands? What kind of shit is that?

Did you ever get your money from this dweeb?

I figure that when we get a loser like this in here, if EVERYBODY jumps in his shit and doesn't accept his feeble bullshit, then he will either straighten his shit out and do things the right way or go away....either way is fine by me.

I think people doign business on this forum should be held to a very high standard of honesty, or chased of...one or the other.

It's not the same guy. Check out his "Feedback From Buyers", turns out his name is Rich.

You are right, must be a different guy with that much positive feedback.

No, he was buying something from me, then gets all pissed off when I sell it 3 weeks later after him promising a money order....

I think there is a link on the first page to my story with this asshat.

in the future

hi ray, hey buddy, in the future, pay with a United States Postal Money Order. if the seller renigs on a deal, it is mail fraud. serious shit and the post office WILL go after his ass.
not much help in this instance though
hope it works out for you
good luck

i didn't read the entire thread. after going back to read, i say, ray, give the guy a chance. post office and ups have both messed up deals for me in the recent past. lost money orders, broken cues, 6 weeks to ship a cue and case to spain, you name it.

Same shit. Doesn't do what he says he's going to do, then gets pissed off and blames everyone but himself.

I just wanted to let all the readers here know that this whole thread is out of line. Digitalcrack paid for a cue and it WAS shipped. It's kinda BS you guys all jumping on one persons side without hearing or seeing one shred of evidence. Right now I am consulting my attorney because I beleive Digitalcrack is treading on libel here.

ALSTL, I think you missed out on a good deal on that Schon which went to a user of this board. (who posted his comment in this thread)
Matthew Stanton I also did business with you on that Brunswick/Joss without a problem.

I have been scammed before and I didn't like it and I understand your guys' natural reaction to support Digitalcrack, but this in NO way happened here.
Not only was the transaction completed but he is also trying to resell the cue!

This is my last post to this forum on this matter. Everything is going to the legal end now. Sad it had to come to this.

Digitalcrack, refer everything on this matter to me or the authorities please.

I will keep that in mind thanks. As for Rocinante. Even if i do receive a cue. It took 2 months to receive it. You gave me stress throughout my trip by not responding to most of my messages claiming you were not online which you were because it shows in your user account and right after i said so you turned off that option. Dude number one rule in a business transaction is communication. Otherwise it is doomed to failure. OKAY now. Rocinante: You still never answer my one question. I have it in my messages log that you said UPS shipping 27 bucks which I did send. 375 was cost of the cue plus 27 bucks (402) total I sent you. So where the heck is my UPS shipping with tracking number? So you decided to send things twice through USPS after we decided on UPS? Then saying you would send the cue and give me a confirmation number on tuesday on wednesday this week eventually drags to saturday and gave me a confirmation number that does not work yet which means you did not send it on wednesday or tuesday. Even if I do receive the cue you are the worse seller not only in this azforum but in the whole world. Quit bsing the forum man. We have like 4 confirmed ripped offs so far from you from different testimonies. Your story does not even make sense. I have it all on my logs. I sell cues that I have so stop accusing me of selling your cue which I did not receive. Anyone want to confirm that come to Hawaiian brians sometime and i'll show you the cues I own. Then the last note you proceed to send rude PMS to a number of people as well as AZADMIN (calling me an ungrateful POS. Whats up with that? Have some respect for people. And dont even pull that libel crap on me. I did nothing to harm your name that isnt true.

2 more cents by Ray

Okay he finally sent me something in the mail. Thank god. Worse guy I have ever dealt with in my life. I'll let you guys know if it is a Scruggs and what condition it is in when I receive it. Grr..worse thing I ever bought in my life.
