John was playing a little 100 no count with his buddy at his pool room. These were his first 4 innings:

12
291
3
284

He called it a night after that.

That is mind boggling. I suppose that I can imagine someone running 291 when everything is right, but then turn around and run 284 two inning later. John's fundamentals must be so solid to be able to even have the endurance to accomplish this.

Be nice if that was taped. In fact, John might as well tape every time he is at the table, you never know what you might catch.

the guy is just phenomenal....did he put 9 ft tables in there ? there were only 7 & 8 ft before right ?

Scmidty is a Monster.... John plays at bionic levels !

did John set up a TV table at his room ?

j/k  been reading too many poker forums lately.

no video? thanks God he didn't run over 526, I'm not sure he had enough witnesses

Wow. That's crazy stuff. Are we going to see Mosconi's 526 broken within the next year or two?

Marop, you forgot to mention: who won?

Can you imagine the look on a guys face who gets two runs in the same game over 280 and doesn't win!

Marop -- I'll repeat an earlier question: what size table was John using?

And maybe you can relay another question to John -- which does he consider tougher for achieving long runs, an 8-footer or a 9-footer? Assume both tables are the same other than their sizes.
