It's my belief as dealers we can conduct business in a manner suited for people who sell these items to the people who need or want them without maliciously attacking other dealers. I hardly ever comment about the business practices of any dealer, unless provoked, and constantly deflect inquiries to other sites when I do not have the item that is being looked for. Now I may comment on the knowledge of certain dealers, but you don't need to know a Szamboti from a Mali to be a dealer. You on the other hand take every opportunity to discredit any dealer you can, at any time. It's not just us, you really want this to end, then you know what you need to do. Bill, I have no problems with you except your mouth, you can sell a million dollars of cues a month, good for you, good for the industry, etc... But do not expect to sling crap without it coming back at you. I usually live by the live and let live mantra and for someone to get me off of that, you need to really irk me.
The battles I have no issues with. But when people are firing air barrels, its just annoying. But I'll bite, almost always.

I hear ya...and yes, we do agree. I've seen half a dozen cuemaker shops, and each one either made the tip new again....or had spare shafts lying around to try out the cues.

For me, I would almost EXPECT that the expert who built it would take it for a spin, and look/listen for any flaws. How can they know if the cue is right, until it's used in the manner for which it was created to begin with??

I dont see anything wrong with a test drive on a cue from a cuemaker.To me its like a car,if you have ever bought a new one they have a few miles which is mandatory as they have to be driven and tested,the car is advertised as new though even with 6 or 7 miles.I was also wondering if a cue would be considered new if it had 2 shafts that were never played with and the person used a Predator shaft or whatever on the cue and the butt was still minty,im curious as to what Marcus or anyone thinks about this as its done here and there.

I agree that people should be honest in there listings and dealings.I was just wondering if the shafts were never touched and the person used a different shaft on it and played with it but the cue was mint,would it still be 100% but then again who would know,lol.Hey Joe will you be at Port on Tuesday?, hopefully there is action,last week was a wash.
