Sharks first episode is running on the front page. I hope you enjoy it. It has been fun and difficult at the same time, so thank you in advance for watching. I'm making sure that pool is not being shown in a bad light, but as a vehicle for different stories to evolve.

I LOVE THIS!

Excellent video. It's like a pool drama with class. Thank goodness somebody in the pool world used good music instead of that porno-type music that I hear on some pool videos. Very professional audio, which makes this a classy production. This is the first time I have ever watched a pool video with this kind of quality. Wow! Keep 'em coming.:cool:
 
I'm curious to see where this is gonna go, but my initial reaction is that it's very soap opera-y.

I also hope the other episodes don't have 90 seconds of opening credits; that was pretty long for a 10 minute episode.

ETA: The production quality is pretty damn good though. :) Can't wait to see some of the action.

Agree. Nice job on the production, I can't imagine all the hard work that went in to this. Nice job! :thumbup:

This TV show is retarded. Nothing but a way for some slutty chicks and Horny men from Amsterdam to promote themselves even more. Hear this: NOBODY cares. None of you can play pool, and the pool (or the world at large) world could care less about any of you guys.

Spanky79, for your Info I have been down there before and half to 75% of those guys are overrated. It's a nightclub, not a pool hall.

Didn't realize this was on TV. Must be a hard time for you, because you can't even get the first part of your bashing correct. And for the record, I care. If you are going to get so angry and cry, I got a pacifier you can suck on so you can keep to yourself.

It was like watching campy soap operas with awful acting on Telemundo. Only in English. :o

Keep it coming though, it keeps the thread in front. I guess we won't be hearing from you anymore since you won't be watching the other shows. Unless you want to find out what happens to those slutty chicks and horny men from Amsterdam who are promoting themselves even more. :smile:

Oh ya, is there a poolroom in the world that has all good players in it? Maybe the one you go to. It would be interesting to find out where that is.

What are you guys smoking!! I watched that crap, it makes no sense. It does have good audio and it is professionally shot, it looks good... But, the acting sucks, porn acting is better, this is the kind of crap you see on skinamax late night but without the softcore nudity. I understand pool doesn't have huge bucks to throw around right now for a good production. It this is just ridiculous, thank god for the fast forward button!
 
Will probably get red rep for this, but I too thought it was pretty bad overall. Everything just seemed so forced.

Great concept but it just didnt turn out that well.

The way it was shot and sounded was good, but the acting really wasnt good. Really wasnt that entertaining.

The safety shots in the match were awesome though.

Will still watch episode 2 probably.

My critique is that I liked the pool scenes, the other scenes looked forced. The acting didn't seem natural to me. The quality of the video and audio was perfect.
I can't imagine how hard it was to put this together and I really appreciate your work, but I would rethink/ rework the acting a bit. It does come off a little like a soap opera.
I can't do any better myself and I wouldn't pretend to know how, But something seems a little off.

I LOVED the pool scenes though, nice safeties. Thanks for posting this and I look forward to your next one.

BWAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA These are pool players... but although, I'd expect pool players, by nature, to be better actors than the average person. :p
