Should the TAR table stay as is or go to standard pockets? You choose.

I'm still up for playing that 10 ball match you offered... although, this would most likely be the undercard match.

Eric >the under, undercard

Hmmm, an undercard match might be worthy of consideration. Have a rotation race to 7 or 9 between 2 AZBers prior to the featured match. Or a short one hole match to feed the one holers.

Have you thought @ this Justin? I'm guessing it'd pull in a few more PPVers and cause quite a stir of chatter on AZB before and after, thereby further building the TAR brand.

I will watch the TAR matches no matter what because it is a great show and I would do anything to support the game. Thanks Justin!

The podcast with Shane and Darren was really good. That episode really made a difference in regards for me wanting the sliiightly bigger pockets back. Why? Well because two champions went on the record with what they struggle with at the table. So there it is, they have shots they practice. That's enough for me, not that I was not already aware of this but anyway. I feel these statements on the record is enough, I don't really need a table proving this.

Earl could run out on that table just fine.

I'm liking the idea of short under-card matches.

......TAR 31 will be February 15-17th with Shane and Mike. Same ten ball format as the Daz match. Pockets will be standard 4.5" Diamond.

Like most of the time I am in the minority... jumping .375 of an inch is a big deal... I enjoyed TARs set up because of the additional play it added to the game.... oh well ... "checkers sells more than chess...."

Thinking about it....

Hey Justin, if you already have both sets of rails, it wouldn't be too hard to decide on a case by case basis...

You could do something like base it on presales....

You could offer to use whichever rails generate the most presales and have people who buy the match in the weeks leading up to one or two weeks out (to give enough time to switch out the rails if need be), say which rails they would prefer...

That way you're not basing your decision on people who would never pay for a ppv...and you're not ostricising a potential fanbase...for matches that would be less likely to play as well on the tougher pockets.

And then refund the folks' money who paid for the rails not chosen?

I think "A player" in texas means something different than "A player" in new york. I believe you would be called something different here.

You are right. Its not the same. But Ive been up and down the East coast my fair share in the mid 90s to 2k. I got an ideal of alot of speeds, and I was playin, not just watchin like most here.

and

I never heard anymore about that Jen Baretta game either. She can play the ghost, then me even. Did you pass that offer along, you said you were, or they didnt like it. Seems like free money for them to Shoot down to H Town for a $350 airfare and steal this easy 5/10k.

I mean shes probaly an "A" player up there, that definitely trumps a low level "A" at best from down here.

And if its "A" for the word not mentioned, I dont mind that as long as some of you all would play and gamble.

Yea, I did pass the info along. She's not really a gambler and honestly doesn't care to deal with you and all of your table stipulations. But I know you're a player so if you find yourself in our hood you can give her the 8 playing 10ball and you got me for a dime.

Haha, I can't give her the 8.
I got no real table stipulations, just no new cloth or buckets.
She can just play the ghost, does not have to be me. Can definitely happen in Vegas

Appleton has done plenty of gambling against strong players in the past. I think the early scratches on the break got to him and he never really recovered his composure. Or maybe he just had a couple of off days - it happens, even to players as strong as Daz.

Darren does play top speed and no doubt normally does well...however, he played one of the worlds best gamblers on TAR and didn't like it...and I don't think it was the table!!

He doesn't have a good track record on TAR period!
