aprox a month ago i sold a blugrass cue. and stated on my site i ding in the butt! shiped it to the azer and he said the joint caps got dinged in shipping? so i told him take care of it and ill cover you on it!
well i get a pm that my cost was $104.00?????instead of shipping off the money right away I call richard harris and asked him why soo much.
50.00 butt repair
30.00 new tips
25.00 spray the caps
20.00 shipping.?
so i called the customer and left a message that i felt he was trying to steal from me, by getting all this other work then charging me. well he got defensive and said he doesnt need my crap, and will never do buisness with me . then i find out hes contacting azers and complaining that I called him a thief. so i got a new bill that was shipping the cue to richard and insurance, 25.00 for the caps, and richard shipping 20.00 for a total of$66.45.
i felt this is still wrong since i did not say ship and insure the cue to repair the caps( JUST SHIP THE CAPS!!!) dont charge me for you fixing up the cue
you azers tell me what i should do! and that is what ill pay, this fine upstanding azer! you guys be the judge and all the facts are here let me know HELP!

I'd give him $40 and be done with it - and I think that's being generous.

I think he tried to screw you over on everything else though, thinking you'll just say, "no problem" and be done with it.

Glad to see you're starting to take a stand on crap like this.

$25 for the cue caps and $5 shipping would be about it. Not fair for all the other optional repairs.

If you insured the cue when it was shipped to him and he claims it was damaged in shipping, make a claim to the shipper for the cost of repair for that specvific damage only and submit a copy of the repair receipt showing you aren't asking for the the butt damage reimbursement. Send him the insurance payment when it arrives. As for shipping costs, you might throw that in there if insurancw won't pay it. The burden on proving it arrived damaged his on him.

I agree with this. IMO he doesn't deserve 5 cents now. In fact, in view of his deceit, why should you even believe his story about shipping damage?

Scumbags like this should be treated as such, if you let him off easy he'll do it again. Just ignore him. If he spreads lies threaten to sue for libel with damages being loss of business due to malicious lies.

Bill, above is what should have happened. If the cue was shipped to buyer insured, then it's up to HIM to make a claim. You were too nice in saying that you would "take care of it" I wish you luck, and hope that you will let us know who the cretin is.

He actually charged $125.00 total and what I was asking you was basically the shipping that I had pay him, my shipping and the fix. So if you figured it out right I am asking you the money correctly since I had to insure the cue for 1400 (that is how much they cost new if the cue got lost or damaged in the mail).
I am not a thieve like you are insinuating. It will be very hard to make business with you again with you leaving me a message in my VM at home and calling me thieve. My wife was super pissed at me because of what you called me.
This is the email I got from Richard with total details and over the phone he never broke it down.
 
Yikes, didn't think it'd be Ben who would be trying to pull a fast one over ya. Unless Ben can get Richard Harris to contest what cornerstone mentioned regarding the breakdown of the bill, I see some excrement about to hit the fan...

I am still waiting to hear from Richard, but guess what...
You will have to pay for the shipping of the cue back to from Richard plus the shipping I had pay to send the cue back to him.
Having that said...
$25.00 for caps
$25.00 for shipping of the cue I had to pay
$13.75 shipping with insurance to Richard
$66.30 is total, includes 4% PayPal fees.

If i agreed to fix the caps that's what i would do.

$25 for repair + $5 or $10 (predicated on how i felt) for shipping.
 
the last 4 post were copied emails from the azer Benificia. and i was not going to say who it was but the last email about me needing money for vf. and still no apology for trying to take me for a ride! was the last straw
