I'm a proud parent today. My daughter who is getting ready to be a junior has been accepted to Northwestern and will be skipping her last two grades of high school and start college early at the Missouri Academy at Northwest MSU. She will graduate high school and get her associates degree in applied science at the same time!

Not only that but she ran her first rack of 9 ball on me last night! I have been working with her on her game for the last few years and she has really progressed! Now she can go whip the other kids at college next year!

Here is a pic of us at family day at the University when her older brother was accepted. He graduated the same way and is now seeking his masters degree in Nano Biology.

Next year I will have 3 kids in college, I need to win the lottery or I am going to be in debt for awhile! (but it's worth it!)

Congrats to you and your daughter. Looks like she could minor in acting too.. Great news. Johnnyt

Congratulations. That's awesome news. My daughter is 8. When her time comes, if she
were to do the same, I would be one proud papa!

Crap, I can't imagine. I am still paying off some of mine lol... Should be set by the time my little boy goes though. Congrats to her college, and also her pool game.

Congratulations. She's adorable. You must be so proud! :smiling-heart:

Sweet blessings are coming your way! :)

Chris;

You have an awful lot to be proud of, Sir.

Congratulations!!!

Excellent job ... these things don't happen by accident. It takes some solid parenting. You have every right to be bursting with pride. :happydance:

Thanks everybody. She gets it all from her mom. Looks, brains and creativity. All except hand eye coordination, she must get that from me because her mom doesn't have any at all. But I know she gets her smarts from her mom because I am just smart enough to confuse myself most of the time!

Life's tuff for a dyslexic with DOC!

That's Outstanding! Congratulations to your girl. Scholarship kid?
Make sure you equip her with pepper spray and a tazer.
Krav Maga lessons will server her well also.

Yeah they all got some scholarships thankfully. I'm glad her big brother will be on campus to help keep an eye on her. It's kinda funny, he looks intimidating. He's 6'2", probably 250lbs and has a size 15 shoe but he wouldn't be much help in a fight! He's a good kid just more of a thinker than a fighter and that's fine by me!

I think she will do ok (although a little self defense would be good), she has a heart of gold and good street smarts. I affectionately call her "my little butt nugget" and I will make sure all the girls in her dorm know it!:grin-devilish: Sometimes it's fun being a dad!

Congratulations!

I am proud Dad as well. 3 grown with degrees, 2 masters, 1 CPA, 1 testing for CPA, & the 21 year old 'baby' still trying to find his course & he is the most intelligent. We have a baby coming in Oct. from the one married & another getting married in Oct.

They grow up TOO fast.

Congratulations Again!

Congratulations! You must be very proud.
She's doing it the right way. Education, career, then pool, or at least with pool along the way.
Tell her that if she's ever in Springfield, the Hustler Clubs are on me. :)

What he said! Definitely! Congrats to you! Glad scholarships are involved. We toured Northwestern with my daughter a few years ago, and tuition/room and board were close to $50k annually if I recall.

My daughter is will be a senior next semester in Texas; my son just finished his freshman year in college here in Ga. Still one more to go a few years ahead still!

Congratulations! You and your wife should be proud! Sounds like you taught them well. Hopefully she won't have any problems being "the little kid" and trying to fit in.
