Sugartree cue real or fake??????????

Um.........I don't think you got what you think you got, when you first got it.
I'm not an expert by any stretch...but there are several things that just look "off" with this cue.
Very well COULD be a ST cue...but I wouldn't bet money on that.
Just my opinion...and I'd be thrilled to find out that I'm wrong.

You look to have gotten it from this guy http://www.ebay.com/itm/Custom-Snea...240?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27ca8a7978 that's selling this so-called "TS" cue is that correct?
He seems to have several suspect cues out there, including a few sugartrees. Read the comment that he posted, it's almost 100% a fake comment he sent to himself to make it seem like someone is about to get a steal on a real Scruggs.

The way that a$$holie words the sales though it would be tough to argue to get your money back. He never states that it's the brand it is, just suggests it enough. "I got this cue, don't know who made it, has a TS on it, not sure about it though". Great way to sell a fake.

That doesn't look like a Sugartree to me at all. As Rat said, many areas are "off".
I've owned 12-14 of Eric's cues and it doesn't seem correct. However, I could be way off but I doubt it. Getting in touch with Eric is a daunting task.

Eric used to sign earlier cues under the bumper. Before 2007.
Eric has used g-10 pins as well. I've owned a few.

Guys thanks for all the input. I realy appreciate it. Like most of you have said the only way to know for sure is to get in contact with eric crisp which i have been told is quite tough.
If anyone knows eric personally and your able to get in touch with him maybe he could shed some light on this and post his thoughts. I know he is a member here on az but rarely checks his pm's.

It seems to be the same date ('06) as the OP cue though the sigs look different. What pin does yours have?

The way things look this guy is a scam artist, there is little doubt about. Once could be a mistake, however, to be selling multiple cues with forged signatures / name markings is not a possible.
I am going to report this guy to eBay, on each auction there is a place where you can report suspicious or fraudulent items. I can only hope that other members who read this also report this to ebay, this guy needs to be stopped.
It still looks like a not bad cue. Did you pay a lot for it?
This is definitely an : Item not as described dispute, so you'll most likely not have a problem getting it resolved in your favor.
The bad part is that EBay/Pay Pal doesn't cover you for shipping the item back. So in that respect, there is always a small amount that you have to suck back.

Someone also mentioned that it could be erics brother who made the cue.
Not sure that would explain the signature issue though.
On a sidenote the cue is very well built and plays prety damn good.

I think I'd have to agree. I took at look at some of the cues his selling and I'm just not sure. Sneaky Pete was my first cue and the one that he's selling just doesn't look right. I mean every cue has it's own personality but there's something very suspicious about the cues he's marketing.
