I wonder in which country that knife would be legal? Here in California, the citizens can't legally carry any weapons, but the crooks can do pretty much whatever they want. By the way, those knives are really cool - but they are like switchblades in California, specifically banned. I can't believe how perfectly they're hiidden and how fast they can be accessed.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Hopefully I won't need any accessories like this again. I still have a beautiful pair of suede cowboy boots that I rarely wear. They wouldn't be my choice of footwear when playing pool.
I bought a super cool push button knife in the Philipines. Totally illegal in California. Years ago when I was running around by myself and gambling every day, I carried a tiny Browning .25 in my pocket. No one knew I had it and it gave me some sense of security. Yes, I still own it.
Better to avoid these type of situations in the first place if possible. I've survived four poolrooms, so I know how to duck.

I don't want to get on my soapbox but here goes. We now have concealed carry in Michigan. My poolroom is a bar too, so even with a license you couldn't carry there regardless. It's my second worst nightmare to shoot or cut someone, but my first is to lose my life or my health to a criminal. I would never beat someone else, no matter how angry I'd become. I will defend myself against a beating ! Liberal states like Ca won't allow a law abiding citizen to protect himself against criminals, in spite of evidence from like 31 states that "right to carry" reduces crime rather than increases it. That is when your personal responsibility to protect yourself outweighs your responsibility to abide by the law. What's the old saying ? I would rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6

As an ole hippy liberal there was a time when I MIGHT have disagreed but not anymore. I still don't have a gun but I'm close. I'm thinkin 12 guage riot gun. I've carried a large fast knife for years. I had one CRKT but it was not adjustable and it was stiff as hell. No way I could even begin to flip it open. I carry a cheap Schrade and it works great. Just a quick flick of the wrist.

Ditto the ole hippie liberal. I was actually looking at hand guns Friday. I have a CRKT Crawford/Kasper Large Folder but the screws have stripped out on the clip. Also have a CRKT Polkowski/Kasper Companion which would be my favorite, but the inside-the-pants sheath is a bit uncomfortable due to the weight I'm currently carrying. I'll never forget about 25 years ago the wife, me, and our three girls were vacationing for a few months in a very small town in NC's Blue Ridge Mountains. As we pull up to the post office for the wife to get our mail I saw a lady get out of her car and start walking into the post office. She had left her pocketbook on the seat with the windows down.
I jumped out of my car and yelled to her to comeback. As she came back I could see she was in her late 60's or so. When she heard why I called her back she looked a little put out. She said, "Your not from around her , are you Sonny? "We don't have the problems here that you have in NY (she saw my plates)"
"Why is that?" I said.
"Because we ALL have guns and ain't afraid to use them."
