I'm not nessesarily talking about Coco on this but since he mentioned it. How many people out there claim that they support pool by playing in tourneys?? When they get there they get water only and expect it for free. So these people get to play in a Tourney (something they love to do anyway) pay the $10.00 entry and then go around on thier high horse saying how they support pool. If you are going to do that I say buy a coke and get a water on the side and instead of going across the street for a cheaper burger buy it from the pool room.
I am not trying to tell people how to spend their $$ and I also know that times are really hard for alot of people right now including pool rooms.
So if you enjoy playing the game and yu DO NOT plan on spending any other $$ that your entry fee scratch up some more quarters and just put a little back.
Also if do plan on paying your entry fee and drinking free water all day don't sit around saying I support pool by playing in tourneys.
Also I think that AZpoolscene is a good and positive thing for pool in AZ I know that Jerry does what he can to keep it updated and full of info. Can it be improved?? of course it can but so can everything. I have no idea how a thread about a pool room being open or not turned into a semi assault on how Jerry can do a better job that he is doing. If you think you can do it better I suggest you get a domain name and have at it.
If AZpoolscene have the time energy and resources to make it better I am sure they will. Sorry to rant guys but I got a little pissy.

Your right about this Mark,me and my friend went to Metro,he was gambling so I said why not spend some money since I am not playing and just taking up space and ordered some food and drinks.I dont always eat where I play though,Kolbys food is really good and they actually got listed in the New Times as the best poolroom but I am there so much I have to step out and eat elsewhere sometimes.bfdlad said:

You know I get comped most of the places we go on the road? Don't get me wrong if they want to buy me dinner I take it but unless I am told "your Money is no good here" I pay for all my beer and the guys sodas.

i heard about you and your friends trip. your friend was playing mine i think. when i went to kolby's a few weeks back i didnt even play the tourny. i racked up 30 bucks in table time had about 10 cokes and bought most of my friends drinks. and kolby's food rocks. i prefer metro's just cuz that is where i play most.

Yes I understand you want to get better, that is not a bad thing, but trust me you don't have to be a donor to accomplish that goal.
Get out and play more, practice more, and maybe someday you will rise to the Pro level if that is your goal.
