TAR 32: Ronnie Alcano vs Jayson Shaw March 29-31, 2013

Yep, it would be great if we could get the stream in an Apple compatible format.

Don't get me wrong I know Shawn plays great but I don't personally see this being much of a match, I fully believe Ronnie is gonna run him over. Either way it will be sick to watch, thanks justin.

I agree... however I would be willing to take Shaw and 5 games... just so it stays interesting... :D I am nothing, if not fair.

Last time I talked to audiovideoweb about it I got the standard issue web geek answer: "We are working on it"

I have found this translates to: At some point in the future we may or may not do something. If we do something that something may or may not actually work.

I'll bang on 'em again this week and see whats up.

ipad/iphone users:

You may be able to watch the stream with an alternate browser.
I seem to remember people on the forums or maybe in TAR chat saying they got it to work.

One app in particular might be worth a gamble: Skyfire.
I used it on an old windows mobile phone, one that definitely didn't support flash,
and I was able to get the TAR stream going in it.

Found an article that lists a few options including skyfire...
at 3-5 bucks it may be worth a gamble, or maybe someone can confirm
whether any of these succeed/fail before anyone gets out the wallet.

PS to JCIN: think shaw's name is spelled Jayson.

I tried those other browsers on my iPhone 5 with LTE network and the connection was horrible, apple products just aren't designed for flash no mattr what app you try.

Plz be 8-ball...

8ball on 9fter is too easy for these guys. When Shane and Dennis played, Dennis didn't miss one ball and he lost the match from breaking dry. 8ball on a 9fter is a joke for these guys. That's why they don't play 9ball.

I agree the last stream I paid for was basically unwatchable. All I have is apple stuff so this is a big drawback for me.

I've tried Skyfire, didn't work for me. I have also tried several other methods, none of which work much at all.

I quit using PCs a long time ago, about the only thing I can't do with my apple stuff is watch these live streams :-(

well you say "apple stuff" but they do make computers, so you might want to clarify what "apple stuff" your talking about. I have 2 apple computers and they play streams fine obviously because they're computers. Tablets cant do every a computer can do.

As soon as Jayson stops trying to run out everytime( which he does plenty of) and starts playing safe when needed, nobody in the world will beat him, Jayson will be the best ever as soon as he starts locking that qball up instead of trying to make a crazy shot!

The one single match between two of the best players on the planet does not completely convince me the game is broken, it certainly makes me think the table needs to be tougher then normal, and that showcase of 8-ball by those two was done on the old "too tough" TAR rails...

I have always said, 8-ball on a 10-foot table with Fatboy pockets would be the ideal professional pool challenge.
