Congrats to omgwtf on the win. Apologies to those who bet on me.
I obviously wont be frequenting these forums much except to check for upcoming tournaments. No regrets, no flaming, nothing negative from me. I'd rather have experienced this situation now for only 3g rather than later for more. That's all I'll be saying in regards to this. I'll still bet it up and I'll still be around playing tournaments

.
I was just doing some soul searching as I regularly do and was thinking about my own poor choices of words and deeds when I got to thinking about CUBC and OMGWTF.
CUBC hasn't returned to the forum and I hope that he does.
CUBC said some unsavory things toward OMGWTF and I won't condone those and simply hope that in the future, he will choose his words more carefully especially when it comes to women and even more specially when it comes to women that take pool seriously.
I'm sure he and OMGWTF have learned a great deal in this saga.
CUBC has taken lots of hits on this forum and some of it was due, some of it wasn't. As usual, there was some piling on, which can't always be helped. I haven't met either of the two people involved but I respect the both of them for "bellying up to the table" (almost like a man

)
But seriously, CUBC and OMGWTF brought a lot of "sweat" to this forum and wages were risked and bets were won and lost. CUBC and OMGWTF gave us a real shot in the arm. While I haven't watched their match, I heard it was a good one but like most matches someone had to lose.
I hope that the forum will support me in welcoming CUBC back to the forum when he is ready to return full time. He has been a good contributor to the forum and as far as I am concerned a welcomed member. I haven't spoke to him, emailed him or contacted him but wanted to put this out there for the rest of the forum to consider.
He's taking a pretty good beaten finacially. He had the guts to follow through on his challenge. He put up his money. He lost. He said some bad things that I'm sure he regrets (we all have at one time or another in our lives). CUBC has learned some things and we do owe Chris and Melissa a debt of gratituded for the jolt that their match gave us.
Will you join me in support by welcoming back CUBC in spite of his warts, welts and bruises? (We've all had them at one time or another)
