Telling us how the pros should shoot in chat

I know I shouldn't let this bother me but it does. Here you have a SVB or an Alex type pro on stream and in the chat you have C, B, and A players typing what or how they should shoot or worse Monday morning quarterbacking after the shot. Am I the only one this bothers? Johnnyt
 
That's why I try to get Mitch Ellerman to commentate whenever I stream.

And when I watch the WPBA reruns on classic I prefer when Jeanette Lee is in the box because she tells the speed, english and why on most shots.

It doesn't bother me that much, and TAR always gets people in the box that are better than me, so I don't mind that.

ahh, I hear ya!

That doesn't bother me because most people are not really paying attention enough, and/or type fast enough before the shot happens.

I do hate when people say, "That was the wrong shot, they should have done this instead...."

Johnny, forget about it. You know as well as I some people just need attention or make it seem like they know something. I guess there trying to impress, possibly a girl in the chat. Who knows who cares they just flap their lips.

Believe me I know the world is full of them, not just in a chat or stream. So to me it just goes in one ear and out the other. Well at least for me since I deal with quite a few opinionated people every day. Some should just keep there mouths shut. Because once they open them it leaves no doubt they don't have a clue.

Nah, who cares, its not like we can dictate how the pros play...it just shows everyone else in the chatroom how much better we are than the ones thats actually playing:D
 
I usually block out the chat and just watch the matches. I can learn more from the guys and gals on the stream than they can learn from me usually.

It's the internet. You play exactly as good as you SAY you play here. It doesn't matter if you can't run 3 balls, it's easy to watch a pro miss a shot, and say, "OMG, I can't believe he dogged that!"

These are the same people who, when asked to play, they suddenly have a pressing engagement elsewhere...
 
Johnny I'm with you brother. I almost get infuriated. The thing about a live stream is we can't see the true exact angles, pool is a game of millimeters. The better we get we start aiming at different parts of the pocket and refining our accuracy. So when a pro shoots, think about how calculated that shot really is? Like anything/anyone else sometimes we hit it bad, even if it goes in. My point is most of the time there are multiple ways to play shape, the chatroom folks that think they can play it better whether right or wrong should keep it quiet some of the time.

I don't mind asking for opinions, like hey do you think 3 rail follow would have worked better or something like that, but when people say other type stuff drives me nuts. Got news if a player shoot a .995 and under they most likely missed a couple shots. GET OVER IT!

However, when all is said and done criticism and every Tom Dick and Harry telling you how you should have done things go with the territory when you are in the public eye. When I drove circle track they let the fans in the pits immediately after the main race. There would be at least a few every night who would explain to me in painful detail how I should have ran the race. Even as a kid I learned not to have much emotional involvement in what was said. The fans never seemed to realize that there were limitations imposed by the car and track conditions and that there were a few dozen other drivers on the track too. I learned to nod my head and look attentive while letting their words just kind of wash on through me, excellent practice for marriage as it turned out! :D :D :D
