Hu, I just sent out a hot $20 to PayPal. There is a way to send it whereby PayPal does not take out a cut. I'm not exactly sure how to do it. I know that you shouldnt say that the $ is for goods. I will also donate 2 of my DVDs, Banking With The Beard--the Movie. What I will do is offer both DVDs at a bargain price of $30 rather than the $49.95 regular price and once sold, send the $60 to Terry.

Terry health update, cross posting to both threads

Terry is doing better and they hope to move him home soon. Daily injections for awhile but his home and his bed which has to help him feel much better. We are looking very good to fund a laptop and DVD's so hopefully he will have something to watch and be able to get back online soon.

In addition to any DVD's he purchases, TAR has contributed a full set of their DVD's to Terry. They continue to be outstanding citizens of the pool world. Thanks to everyone, the response has been almost literally overwhelming! If I owe anyone information please let me know. I'm struggling a little to keep up with everything.

It did take me a second to figure out that was you, but only a second. I'm not going to put deadlines on this, the only people I need to talk to are those that said they wanted to help but didn't give a number.

Some money is being snail mailed, some people are short enough that they are waiting on money themselves and still want to help support Terry. As soon as I can total up roughly how much is coming I will dip into my account and get things rolling for Terry. No worries that anyone will leave me holding an empty bag on this deal and if more money arrives than expected I'll just send it on to Terry for more DVD's.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm out of the rep game, have been since Smorg died. It meant something to him and I had to support a friend just like I'm supporting Terry in a different way now. Funny, until you used the word I never even thought of this thing as a charity. It may be to a few but most of us including you and I are just helping a friend.

I started off hoping to raise enough to buy a few balloons to brighten Terry's room. We have put together ten times what I first intended to and we aren't finished yet!
