i needed a few supplies and sent chris an email saturday, i got an answer that he had company, but would get my order out on monday, he is in georgia and i'm in missouri. and when i got home from work wednesday, there was my order. my point being it is really nice to do business with someone that actually does what they say they are going to do.

I agree with you Chuck. Chris is great to deal with and he ships out your order very fast and does not rape you on shipping.

I have had 4 Hightower lathes. Not because its the only game but because I know Chris Hightower the man has a passion for his lathes, has built cues so he knows the value and frustration of having something just sit because you need something.

His continued longevity in the industry where others have failed speaks for itself.

Never a problem where a fast solution could not come to be.

Like the man, love the Lathe

You have to wonder about a guy that has been around as long as Chris Hightower, and you never hear anything negative.
What I always hear is "buy that stuff that Hightower has".
I've heard that a lot.
Nobody can please a bunch of cuemakers and cue repair guys for as long as Chris Hightower has.
There has to be something going on with this Cuesmith guy...

Chris is great to deal with. And the Hightower Lathe is an outstanding value.

It takes a few more days than that to get supplies but Chris has always sent mine out quickly. But Chris is usually there to answer the phone or email too. Its a wonder he has time to get anything else done.

In fact, anyone that I have dealt with on these two forums have been great and get an A+ for customer service.

Too bad I can't say the same for other deals that I have made elsewhere.

Criss got my order out Quickly also , but when it didn't arrive in almost 2 weeks , I called , He did the tracking thing , and found out it was involved in a train derailment in Montana , must have gotter fixed , my stuff arrived today . thanks Criss . Jim

I totally agree with all the posted comments on Chris! Not only are Orders always out
quickly, but he takes the time and patience to answer my vague or dumb questions. I also want to give cudos to his family, Keisha & Israel, when Chris is away. I have
placed orders and my orders have been expedited as if I were dealing
with chris. As a business owner myself I know "when the cats away the rats
will play" does not apply in this case. Thanx Chris for being a positive infleuence on your children, they carry the torch well in your absence.

I really hope you are joking with this post.

There IS something going on with Chris. He is a good and fair man. I have and still do order parts and supplies from him without issue. When I have a problem I can't figure out I simply send him an email, and unlike most others, get a response and resolution. We need more folks like him in the industry and I am glad he is.

I have had nothing but prompt and courteous customer service from Chris. He is Very down to earth and knows what he is talking about. If you have an issue with your ordor he will take care of it. I ordor without hesitation from Chris and one other supplier.

I had a question about a piece of equipment and he took time to talk on the phone and give me the information I needed. Thats why Chris is tops in the business and has continually remained on top.

that's what I'm talking about, plus he sells good products that you can rely on

If he took Pay Pal I would order a lathe today. IT IS 2012!

The extra 3% in fees have not been built into the price of my lathes.
I have often thought about raising prices 3% to make up for the credit card and paypal fees. But I thought it would be better to reward the customers with a lower price and let them spend that amount on supplies instead of wasting it on middle man payment fees.

I do take paypal and credit cards on smaller orders.

Thanks everyone for all the kind words.
