I want to thank Cory for coming to south dakota for playing a good challenge match.. I also want to thank Billiards Congress of America (Mark Griffin) for bringing Billy Incardona, and grady mathews in SD for the comentary. Also want to thank The Diamond company (greg sullivan) for bringing a brand new table for me and cory. Playing against corey is considered the toughest match I play so far... I totally respect cory as a professional player. He handle himself very well and he is class act. by far I think that cory is a great player and hes allways a champion and looking forward to play him again in the future. I want to thank Theactionreport.com for all the work they have done for the match... I also want to thank all the people in southdakota and Azbilliards people for the support of me and cory during the match.. I notice that I will be playing against Earl Strickland in the future. I have allways wanted to play against Earl since I was a kid and I know he is a true champion and looking forward to play against the best..... Thank you.. shane

Very well put. You are a class act. I met you in Atlanta when we were trying to match you and Corey up. I must say that I was rooting for Corey simply because I've played golf and hung out with him several times, but I will definitely root for you also, as you are a true champion as a person and player. Congrats and I wish you continued success.

Shane...You played a great match! I have no doubt that you'll do the same when you play Earl! Just a little change...Mark owns the BCAPL (Billiard Congress of American Pool League), which is separate from the BCA, and a privately owned company. Together, Mark Griffin and Greg Sullivan (Diamond Billiards) do more to support and promote our sport than many of the larger companies put together...imo. Both you and Corey are champion players, and that match certainly could have gone the other way! I'm happy for your win, and wish you the best of luck against Earl...another great champion player! Hope to see you, and play some the next time I'm up in Sioux Falls! Please tell Mr. Moss hello from me! :D

Good shootin' man.....although you cost me some cash. :)

You handle yourself well and I wish you all the best in the future.

Way to go Shane! Very nice post, and, like a true champion, gracious. I will continue to follow the Challenge series and wish you lots of luck and good rolls! C'mon back to Albuquerque sometime!
:p

Shane you played an awesome match and I think that you are a very stand up guy, especially after taking the time to write something like this. Good luck in the future and I hope to see more of your games. Bravo on a job well done.

Congrats on the win, you played amazing. Your break was in rewind with the same 2-3 balls dropping over and over. Thanks for putting on a great show and good luck in the action challenge part 2.

Shane,

You gave us, the audience, a super performance. Both you and Corey were perfect gentlemen and are incredibly talented players. Great job for everybody involved in the production.

Chris

I'm so proud of you Shane. Not only are you a superb pool player, you are a good man! I've always been impressed with the way you handle yourself, and this time is no exception.

Considering what you had to go through growing up, it is remarkable that you turned out so well. You are a true story of courage in the face of extreme hardship. I am well aware of the difficulty you faced in your young life and somehow you found a way to overcome it. Never once have I heard you complain about anything, or the bad hand you were dealt.

I know that learning to play pool was not as difficult as some of your other accomplishments. I am honored to be your friend.

Thanks for posting Shane and I have seen many top pros play live including you beating Scott Frost playing bar table eight ball at Qmaster last year during US Open, but you played as close to perfect as possible in these two matches in my eyes. I've seen the set run out in tournaments racing to 7 or 9 games but what you did this past weekend playing 10 ball may never be beaten in a race to a hundred, amazing break and runout pool.

Leonard

Congratulations, Shane. By exhibiting good sportsmanship, respect for your opponents, and gratitude for those who have helped provide you with opportunities, you have demonstrated that you are a champion both at and away from the pool table. Wishing you continued success.

when I signed into the webcast Friday night and caught you thanking Corey for coming to South Dakota and stating what a great thing it was to get people there for the match-up, you won my respect :) it is always wonderful to see someone enjoy the big picture as well as the smaller one. best of luck to you.

Maybe i missed something in the last 24 years. Shane has always had all the support that he needed. Oh, waite, that's what everyone is seeing now. Shane has never went without anything, maybe a father, but I took his place too. As far as his struggle with his hearing, that has never been a handicap, again, look what everyone is seeing now. He is the product of his enviroinment. And a fine product he is. Thank you, His mother!!!!

Timi, no question you provided a loving enviroment for Shane to grow up in. I was referring to what he had to go through just to learn to speak and communicate with other kids. The support of his family was essential to helping him accomplish what he has. Congratulations on a fine job of raising a good man.

In our family we have a similar person, who has never really overcome her handicap. At some point, she gave up trying to cope with it, and stays home for the most part. I am well aware of what he must have gone through to be able to excel in life as he has.

Congrats to both players.

You both must have shown much class and composure throughout this match. I have seen both of you play live, several times and have never been less than impressed with the way you handled yourselves.

Shane, I have been a huge fan since watching you play in the singles VNEA, several years ago. I knew you were going to be something special. Way to go, I wish you much continued success.

Peace, JBK
