"THE HATCHETMAN" Dennis Hatch

Dennis, In case you missed it this is what I posted immediately after watching your match against Feijen:

After watching his dismantling of Neils Feijen in the Mosconi Cup I can truly say that Dennis Hatch is awesome.

That word ‘awesome’ gets tossed around all over the place today. But within the context of its original meaning, I could find no more fitting description of the man, and his sublime ability at the table. He is every bit a champion, the complete package—heart, courage, smarts, determination, confidence, and talent by the truckload. Watch out pool world, there’s a new king getting set to rule and his name is Dennis Hatch!

Dennis..this is for you! :bow-down::bow-down::bow-down::bow-down::bow-down::bow-down:

Dennis was huge and with out a doubt MVP, his energy and positive out look brought out the best in everyone-I was there and saw it all happen behind the scenes. I seen a losing team behind the scenes. Honestly the players room vibe can win it or lose it, its as important as the TV table.

It was without a doubt the greatest 4 days in pool I have ever had and I didnt hit a ball. We had fun, we kept it fun, when there was a loss we shrugged it off.

Hatchet came with the 2 biggest wins the first was when he put us up 8-4, if he lost it would have been 7-5 which is a horse race, but he won putting us up 8-4 that was huge. then when he won 6-0 on Sunday that was it.

Dennis was amazing, JA's and Nicks experience, Corey doing his thing, Oscar doing his all created the enviorment. Ernesto and I helped rack kept the mood positive so the players could go do their thing. Losing wasnt even considered, it never came up one time. We never had any pressure on us as a team, and on paper we were huge underdogs.

Dennis deserved the MVP award 10 times more than anyone, Even if JA would have went undefeated and had a better record, I still think Dennis had more impact on the team. JA's my friend and he has never been MVP and he wants that bad, but I call it as I see it, Dennis deserved it.

I will never forget those 4 days, that was amazing. It shows that attitude can win over anything. I learned alot too. I made new friends. Dennis lived a dream that anyone who can draw their ball would love to live out-congrats buddy.

Congrats Dennis

You were exactly the 'fresh blood' that the team needed. A job well done Hatchetman.

Baby, you're a star! I just hope the shows get some decent play in the USA. Believe me they know you all over Asia and Europe now.

Congrats and extremely good playing and team spirit during the competition. You definitely were the difference maker for this year's team. Any time there was a little challenge you were there for your team with positive reinforcement.

Great Job and as an American and someone who had enough faith to bet on the US, all the Thanks goes to you and your team members for one hell of a great four day ride.

Thanks
-don

Congratulations!!! Well Deserved MVP You played great as advertised I knew you could do it. Great composure I became a big fan as I was fortunate to catch quite a bit of your TAR match last May with Darren Appleton.
Good Luck and Hope to see more of you on tour now!!

Next year:

Archer
Hatch
Shane

and ?

Good job.

Dennis, you put on an amazing performance. I think you just scored yourself an annual holiday payday for a long time. You were clearly one of the top players and BY FAR the biggest attraction. You will be on the MC team for years to come. Finally someone who can replace Earls media draw and can actually HELP the team.

Thanks again Dennis.

Hope to see you at the derby in the action room betting big stacks.

''hatchetman in da house "".......

Courage, guts ,determination, attitude ,grit and whatever superlatives anyone choses to throw Dennis's way are fine,,,but ''Snickers,,,Giant Size with Almonds'', diet Pepsi and well placed bottled water are all factors in his greatness,,,,,!!!

The man's the greatest showman in the game and what better a place to show it than The MGM in the show bussiness capital of the world with the entire world watching,,,,,,!!!!

Dennis,,,,,,You're the second greatest man in pool !!!!

,,,Just 'Bustin Them....!!!

Hatch,

I knew you were a monster but I didn't know if you would "bring it" in this type setting. Man, you knocked it down. I gotta give you credit, you played better than I thought you would and it was great to see how you lifted the team. You played outstanding and are deserving of all the accolades you get from this. GL next year, I hope it all works out for you.

Best to you buddy,
