First of all, you guys nailed the production hands mutha****in down. Not too sure anything can beat what y'all put out for the one hole and ten ball tourneys the past 10 days. The guerilla camera angles are the absolute shit. Don't know how y'all kicked it into that gear but it's a high high gear.

Pool 300...the nuts period. I loved getting to see the pros whooping the ghosts ass like that and having to bring it instead of playing safe. I think it's very enjoyable to watch and if a tourney can be put together it will be the nuts. Woulda loved to have seen SVB get up there and swing it.

Chat isroom...thanks for not being chat nazis, we prob had more fun in the chats the last 10 days than Ustream would allow. Hope we didn't cost you guys any business, I think people had a good time and it only added to the enjoyment of the stream.

KURZWEILS'....that Chris is the nuts for multiple reasons. Outside of the Kamui Tips guy I have never seen a sponsor actually interact with the viewers EVER. Chris was logging in and telling TAR how good they were doing and guaranteeing more sponsorship just cause he was feeling the operation. Chris Kurzweil also mixed it up with many of us and was not scared to put his country meats on the line himself. His meat became the currency of choice for sweat bets as well which I thought was the coolest thing in the world. People were sweating jerkey, ribeyes, bratwurst etc. So we got a real chance to support the sponsors and TAR and our bellys and our gambling itch at the same exact time. The nuts is all I can think. Next time let's see if we can get John Bertone and Kamui more involved. No one wants to buy Kamui chalk cause of the price but I promise ppl will sweat matches for some Kamui chalk or tips lol. Plus it's nice to put personality to the brands. TAR works cause we know y'all and respect the movement.

OK for the bad news....8:30 matches are too damn early to stop rolling the beautiful bean footage. My suggestion would be do those normal 4 matches the way you have been. Add in the early match like 10 AM PST and the late round 11 PM PST but just do it with no commentary and one camera angle. Just something so we can see what's going on. We didn't get to see the 5th-6th matches and it woulda been cool to see Dennis Haar send Dechaine home. I would just say see if there is a feasible way to be able to show a match from all match times just some with no commentary and one static camera angle of the table.

Another thing. Matches on the TV table. We all love to see SVB. We love to see Efren. We also would like to see more of the Matt Krah, Dennis Haar, and Jamie Baraks too. They are great players that a lot of people don't know about but they should get to see there talent. Be cognizant of how many matches certain guys are playing on that TV table too. Imagine how Dennis Haar would have felt on the TV table in the final 3. Everyone else would have played a minimum of 2 matches on the TV table at that point and it would have been his first match on it. So of course he would have felt at a big disadvantage and rightfully so. Keep the rotation fresh. You guys did an awesome job catching the Vidal upset over Morris and Scott Frost going ape shit crazy on Daz and many other phenomenol matches with very unexpected outcomes. I know Kenichi Uchigaki don't pay the bills but these types of players would be perfect to fill time slots on matches with no commentary and one camera angle that essentially would require the least effort. Gives people a chance to see those guys and gives those guys a chance to get used to the TV table in case they go deep.

Commentary...Corey/Billy/Scott was the best thing I'd ever heard. Billy is always a beast he's the Godfather. Jay does real good as well, lots of good stories he mixes in with the commentary while the guys run the Cosmo after the problems get solved. Justin and Cleary need to be in the box too cause they are enjoyable to listen to, very funny, and semi knowledgable. We like when the commentary gets sidetracked and you talk to the chat. Larry Shwartz, Ken Shuman, and Hunter Lombardo were a change of pace and very analytical but they make ADVIL PM seem like Red Bull the way they put me to sleep. Disco was funny too when he was in there.

Very fair price on the streams as well, I hope people bought it like hell cause that level of quality will probably cost more sometime in the future, if it doesn't...it still probably should.

Keep up the good work and it's only getting better. I pretty much buy every single TAR Stream I can just so I can talk to JCIN(STALKER!!!). No seriously TAR is good for pool, grey goose is good for me...Peace out, time to give my girl the good old "shoulder tap"

I would have to agree with just about everything.

The one pocket was the STONE COLD NUTS.

I only watched one day of the 10 ball because I was busy for a change.
It was very enjoyable.

P.S. If JOE ROGAN ever goes on tour with JUSTIN and ALEX P. sign be up for the first ticket.
Justin you are a class act and always have been, I am glad I can say I have sat in the box and was able to help you in the past and hope to do so again in the future. Keep up the good work SIR.
And of course I can't forget about John form Kamui and the meats guy (insert name here) sorry.
Nathan and Dave you guys are in league of your own.
Frenchy, what can I say, you are great at what you do and deserve what ever good come out of it for you.

Great write up Mikey very accurate and very well said. Thanks to Mark Griffin, Justin and the entire TAR crew for a great 10 days of world class pool.

Thanks Again

Good post Mikey! I totally agree. Greenies for you!
Oh except for one thing. That Jay guy sucks! ;)

That was way more than 2 cents worth...lol. More like a buck 4.80. :)

Tar

I just wanted to say that these are some stand up guys who went out of their way to assist me when I had trouble accessing the PPV. I also wanted to mention if they continue to loop the matches so if I missed it I can still watch it later I am going to buy every PPV they do forever except for straight pool.

I buy most of em now but will buy em all too if they ever make them available at a later time.. This old man needs his sleep and those late matches Pacific time are brutal!!

Well put Mikey.

Thanks to TAR for doing what they do.

Thanks to viffer for keeping the chat room square...

Great Post Mikey!

I wanted to add to the point you mention about players not getting to play on that table. I sat directly behind Dennis Haar on many matches. During the 4th place match he actually got to play on the Stream Table, although none of you were able to see it because the cameras were all packed away and the TAR guys were not present. They did actually come in the doors pretty loudly right in the middle of Dennis's stroke on a ball against Alcaide around rack 8.

Dennis spoke to a few of us many times during this match and added that this TV table actually played the best of any of the tables in the room. And he only wished he would have gotten to play on it earlier.

The other fun part was the 4th place match was for 10 a.m. after they just finished up late the night before (no big deal), but when Dennis and Alcaide went to practice that morning none of the tables had any balls on them. So even before the match Dennis couldn't get any time on this TV table.

My guess is that Dennis and the TAR guys have a past or something, because there was so many times he could have played on the Live Stream against great opponents and another match with players that already played on the stream got chosen. Dennis use to live in South Dakota and that is where TAR is from, correct?

Jerry, are you straight up implying Justin or TAR has purposely made things hard on Dennis?

Dennis not being on stream table is purely coincidental. His opponents may have been someone who was just played on stream table or match before. Plus, not a lot of people know who Dennis is and didn't notice his skills much later into the tournament. TAR tries to stream matches that are most entertaining featuring popular players. Many asked about him (Dennis) as "who's that guy? where he's been?" Maybe in the future events, we may see more Dennis.

For the balls not available for him to practice early... balls are put away when there is no one in the room to prevent thievery. If you haven't noticed, people STEAL balls!!!

Maybe they could have put the balls out earlier, but it wasn't intentional.

By the way, Justin is born and raised Indiana.

Unless you heard directly from Dennis TAR has something against him, please don't stir the pot.

S.G.

Why does someone always have to ruin a good thing by saying something negative? In this case, it's something completely unjustified.

Not only do I enjoy watching Dennis, but I seem to get along with him quite well. Seems to me he even played in the stream table, which negates your argument.

As for the balls not being available for him to practice with, what does that have to do with TAR? We stream the table. We aren't tournament directors.

As for everyone else, thanks for your positive responses. We busted our asses 10 days in a row (especially frenchie), and very much appreciate the positive response.

This was a great thread until the assumptions started...

I don't understand why someone would pollute a positive thread with a negative tone.

The stream and coverage was outstanding IMHO!! Let's stick with that..

You guy are the stone cold nuts and deserve everything you have coming your way.
The quality of the stream was second to none.
