The AZ Room @ The Derby City Classic

I don’t smoke either but I vote to allow it. After all a seedy smoke filled pool room without the smoke is just seedy.

Freddy - The room with the table in it is only 33' X 23'. I don't think there would be enough room for any bleachers but you would know more about that then I would.
If so, I think we should wait until we get there to ask for (and arrange) for anything more. It will be a lot easier to do in person then trying to get it done for us before hand.

As far as Name Tags go - I had a thought.
If we aren't offered (and it's not looking good) - why can't we all just make up our own? We are all on a computer and it is easy to make up one in a word program or any graphic program we may have.
It is easy & cheap to have it laminated at Kinko's, Office Depot or Officemax and this way we could copy & paste the logos that “sizi” is putting on the thread.

I just wish that I had got my subscription , my wife and daughter sent in a money order for one as a christmas gift last year ........still no magazines

I called them once last spring and they said they couldn't find my money order
go figure !!................Watch out Timberly ....I would hate for them to lose you too ! LOL

The name is SIZL with an L, but you can call me Todd:D :p

How many name tags are we talking about? My plate is pretty full between now and xmas, but I might be able to swing some name tags and I stress the maybe.

However that is a good idea about making your own.

Sizl/Todd - Take my advice and don't even offer to make nametags. It would be a nightmare for you with all the emails and preferences. Maybe I can just make up some blank ones w/ the logos and have them write in their stuff.

You are so right, but I am just trying to conribute. Let me know about the banner, I had my artist messing around with an idea or two today. Timberly had a good idea that I am going to implement into the banner. Talk with you soon.

I say smoke 'em if you got 'em. Those who have attended the DCC know how smoky that hall is. Hell, if you buy a yellow T-shirt out in the hall don't be surprised if it turns out to be white when you wash it. Now if someone fires up a smoke and starts passing it then they might have to go (not immediately but after a hit or two) because we won't stand for any of that. I can assure everyone that drinking won't be a problem with me. I 've been doing it excessively for years and I have become pretty proficient at it. I promise not to spill. Let's not become the fun police.

You might want to check with the Exec West about smoking in case they have a restriction in that particular room.

Otherwise, how about a smoking compromise --> no smoking during the day, say 6AM to 6PM, then smoking overnight 6PM to 6 AM? The main tourney room is non-smoking during basic tourney hours, then goes to smoking about 11 PM. The 'practice room' AKA action room has always been all smoking all the time. It would be nice if there was a little respite in our room some of the time.

I'm good for $50. I'm still not sure if I'm going to make it, but I'm good for the $50 either way.

I was hoping a friend of mine would go with me, but he crapped out... still considering a solo room, but a buddy would definitely help with the cost... especially since I don't plan on being in my room that much! :)
