The document of our pool related road trip across the U.S. updated daily

That's a nice dream...but extraordinarily unrealistic. There are dozens and dozens of pro players (guys who play better than Gene) who will not cash in this event. There's no ladies division, so for you to accomplish this in the Open, EVER, let alone in a year, is a million to one shot! That said...dream big and good luck.

Damn Scott...... Say what you really mean.
Why would you respond that way? WTH

This sounds like ya'll ain't pumped up like you used to be. You all better hit the Brickyard so you can get pumped up again! All your suckers are waiting for you Rhea.

Gene for himself a stake horse..Nothing against him but if he plans to do good this is the year..field is pretty weak.

Gene won his first match against a young man from Germany named Daniel Beckman 11-2. Gene will resume play tomorrow @ 2pm against Cheryl Pritchard, and if he wins he will then play the winner between Tammie Jones and Jason Klatt whichever one can win that match at 8:30pm Wednesday.

Gene will be playing Klatt, this will be a very tough game for Gene, but hey Gene seems to be playing just fine, i hope Gene keeps rolling!

Concur...Bartram gonna blow the C-Note

LOL...I don't know if Jason can get by Cheryl but if he lucks out and does.........Chris can have first dibs on all the sweat bets taking Jason over Gene before I do.....or we can split them all.

.tell him "HI" for me when you get the chance, he was a class act to play

Yes CJ Tom is 74 and still working in a pool hall, I was told you two played at the Flamingo lounge.

I was also told that Tom was told to stay away from two players, Buddy Hall and CJ Wiley.

The world was Tom didnt know what you looked like, when his crew went out and got something to eat, Tom stayed behide at the pool table and when they came back from eating Tom was playing CJ AND THE REST IS HISTORY! SO WAS THE MONEY!

Yes, they snuck me in that day to play, I think Charlie Jenson gave me the "heads up" that there was a road player at the Flamingo Lounge.

I knew the guy played really well, but didn't know it was Tom until later that night or maybe the next week.....tell him "HI" for me when you get the chance, he was a class act to play and I wish him the best. :D

You got it CJ, Tom will be delighted to hear what you had said about him!

Plus this will get Tom talking about old times, which i love to hear the stories!

Listen...I read the threads, and I've seen her play. She's learning how to scuffle from town to town. That's fine, as that's what she wants to do, and it serves as entertainment for much of the AzB readership. Just don't confuse that with being able to cash in the US Open 9ball tournament (by next year)...which is filled with players who have pro ability. I was probably a little harsh in my response, but the "pie in the sky" baloney got the better of me.

Nothing to do with logic. She didn't ask his opinion...
He was being an a$$

I didn't think you were being an a$$ at all, just being honest and realistic, but there are several here that don't welcome reality... Welcome to the club!

There's goals, dreams, fantasies and absurd. Her statement was absurd. Scott's post by no means was asinine. If responding to an absurd statement with a touch of reality makes one an ass, make me a member of the club.

If you're looking to gamble, and more importantly make a living gambling, drug dealers are great!!! You need people that gamble and have disposable income... Unlike those who have legit money drug dealers are limited in where they can spend theirs, they don't file with the IRS, so its a good thing when pool players collect the taxes they're supposed to pay. You can't be afraid to take off scores.....

Pimps!... don't forget the pimps! another endless supply of cash on hand..
