The Fatboy tourny ended up about 10 times better than i expected, now that I saw the success of this I'm movitated to do more. over time. this was just a experiment, i have met alot of new people I didnt know and its great, I have enjoyed meeting them. I put alot of effort and time into "Fatboy", like I said from day one "To put a shot in the butt for pool" I want to create entertainment for the fans, and $$ for the players-not me. Thats the goal, REP is good enough for me, I like being #2(and hope I stay there, I will never pass Smorg thats his spot-FOREVER), but seriously If I can create entertainment, put $$$ in players pockets, and break even in the long run I'm happy, I dont need $$$ out of pool-nor do i want it, i'm not making pool a business. (unless I win $$$ in action but thats different). Its going to take time but sofar I'm on track.
I'm becomming widley known which is important, I like all the top players and so far they all seem to like me, Some I have known for over 20 years, some came up while I was out of the scene-so i met them in the past 2 years, I go out of my way to be there for them, I'm not a sucker and biting me dosent work, and one thing is they have shown me respect because they for the most part have never bit me except for 2 guys, thats respect and they (the guys who dont bite I respect more).
While I'm not personally trying to become popular I want "Fatboy" to become a brand in a way, Sure I am "Fatboy" but that dosent define Eric Petersen. I have been accused of being a ego manic and thats ok, I'm not. It sounds like a cointradiction I want "Fatboy" to be famous and Eric not to be. Thats right! Fatboy is making things happen in pool, Eric is who i look at in the mirror, big difference. & years ago I liked some flash and bling(i didnt feed off it like some people, i liked it 20% of the time, now its .0005% of the time) now I dont at all. Look at my hair and cloths i'm not a flashy guy either.

That's alright. It sucked about his tip coming off - it happened to me once too, so I know all about feeling helpless... And all the people standing in and out of door way didn't help either. I know Rafael has solid game and it really was an amazing field. I love all the crazy shots Rafael comes up with-he is one of the most entertaining player to watch

I think they are finishing up the Fatboy Challenge tonight. Semi and the Final. I believe final match will be on TV table. I will once again post any updates as long as I am not tied up or passed out... sleeping. My eyes are starting to burn and the twitch is settling in... my, my, I am getting old.
Oh, sorry about the mis spelling and poor grammar last night. I was trying to type too fast on tiny phone keys

Roy you are too funny in your hatred for US Players. Do you know how silly ou sound when you say you are not happy because he only came second in 2 big 10 ball events this year and ONLY came 4th in the US Open? I I cam 10thin the US Open I would never play again and claim a successful career. I am sorry you are right, who wants the #1 ranked US Player in that game??? Duh sorry my bad you are right.

We play the Fatboy semis tonite and the finals tomorow on the TV table. You can see that on the Accu-Stats stream. By the way, Watchez got ahold of a Diamond triangle, had Fatboy Challenge engraved on it and had all sixteen players sign it. He gave it to Eric the first night as a gift for putting this event on. Pretty cool I thought. Give him some rep!

Well Jay I was going to just give the signed rack to Fatboy but after I saw how cool it was - I told him he could still have it but for $200
