The First Action All Around.

Still not positive from the posts... is it winner take all? Meaning if one player wins both the straight pool and 1 pocket, he gets all the cash? And the 10 ball is not played?

All this time I thought Shane was going to play in the WPC. Is he not qualified, or does he not have a sponsor?

He is playing in the US Open, right?

If they split then the last set is for all the money.

If one guy wins the first two, then the third set is for $3300.

I know, I know.....but this is the way we are doing it this time. We wanted to be sure that all 3 sets would be played, if we do not do it this way, we could end up with only two sets.

It should be fun no matter what happens.

unfortunately I don't see alot of ppv buys with the World Championships streaming free
As I said before, we work with what we have. If we looked for reasons not to do things we would of never started this.

Each Action Challenge is probably going to be a little different. It's really not much different than boxing where a lot of negotiation goes on about conditions, dates, money and so on before they ever get close to the ring.

Look at it as two of the greatest players alive matching up and you have a ringside seat for the duration.

Harriman gets outclassed, John's probably laughing at this easy 10k

I am sure that you will get some action if you think that. What odds are you giving up? Maybe we can bet and I will take the underdog depending on what your idea of outclassed is.

JCIN,
Was just wondering how big the ActionReport.com room is going to be and how many people you'll be able to fit in there? Going to sell tickets for this down there or are you going to let the AZ and ActionReport members in while they're down there? On a side note, ALL of the pool community needs to be sponsoring these events. JCIN and the ActionReport are setting these up for us and its all of our responsibility to make sure its worth while. This can come in the form of buying the PPV stream, DVD's, shirts, memoribilia and even by spreading this news of these events to everyone in your local pool hall. The first challenge was great, my buddies and I had friends come over to watch who arent even that big into pool and they loved it as much as we did, simply because of the idea of a big money match being seen live. We had to explain to them we were even more excited than they were because nothing like this had been done before. So please, support these events in anyway possible. Thank you for all you've done for the sport theActionReport.com.

I wouldn't put all my eggs in one basket if I were you. Earl is gonna have to play really well. But I for one know he has the ability to win. Danny Harriman is champion. John is also a champion. I'm staying away from that one.

There are no locks in pool at this level. However I feel Shane should be a huge favorite over Earl, but the other could be a real dog fight. It should be intresting.

Who's Laughing now a$$hole? Big Blow to the "Harriman Hate Club"

No ill intentions meant towards John Schmidt at all just to all of the "Harriman Hate Club" members.

Sure would break my heart if they all miss their Mortgage and car payments this month  ..... NOT

Why is it that so many people seem to dislike Harriman?

What did he do?

I have noticed several negative comments toward him

Danny conducts himself professionally with honesty and integrity and expects the same in return. When others conduct themselves in a shady manner, Danny calls a spade a spade. Those on the other side of those situations become resentful because Danny will not just sit there and be taken advantage of by anyone. They need to either

a) get used to it
b) change their way of doing business

He stuck to his guns.

IMO, they don't know the man. Danny is a good person, a good friend, and a great pool player. Those that knock him don't know him.
