So, how does it play?..![]()
Well, it is a SEARING and that's about all I need to say. Seriously, I have collected about 150 cues in the last 8-9 years and this is far and away the best playing cue I have ever owned. Dennis has a t-shirt that reads something like this -
"Searing Precision Cues - every one has that elf-in magic" and this one is no exception.
I was hoping about a more detailed description, kind like your thoughts on the hit characteristics of the cue, most of us will never get a chance to play with one and we are curious as expected..
Enjoy the cue!!

Petrol,
I really don't know how to describe the hit/playability of this cue. First of all, I am not a great player. I can play almost as well with an old house cue as with a custom. I had been playing with a Bobby Hunter that I liked a lot. I think it is a question of balance. The Searing is like it is not there almost. Not forward weighted nor butt heavy. It just rests there, responds to your stroke, and strikes pure. I do recall a Southwest I had that I couldn't sell fast enough. It felt like a club!!
Hope that helps.
