The Tonkin "Chevron" Cue Build

Chevron Cue

I want to take the time to thank Jamie for commissioning the Chevron Cue. It was allot of fun working with Jamie on the cue. But the best part of the build was the friendship that developed during the design and build process.

Thanks So Much,
Pete

Unbelievable!!

Just when I think I've seen cues about as good as they can be, it just gets better. Pete's work is incredible.

And they say all of the cue designs all look the same.

THAT is an unbelievable cue. It must shimmer as you spin it in your hands.

Congratulations!!!!

Thanks for sharing your Tonkin adventure with us! It must have been a great experience working with an incredible cue artist on a cue design this beautiful. Sweet!
:p

Incredible cue! I always love the build process pictures. I can't imagine how cool this cue looks in person.

Pete and I want to thank you again for all the nice comments.

Had a chance to take it for another spin and I just can't stress enough how well balanced this cue is. 19.2oz is an incredible weight for an all ebony cue with a lot of silver. It has a very smooth and quiet hit, yet very solid. Believe me when I tell you, Pete is every bit as concerned about playability as he is about aesthetics. Just a wonderful cue all around. Can't wait to show it to you all in person someday.

My favorite Tonkin. Gonna have to get one myself someday. I am impressed with his work. Thanks for sharing.
