The Viking Tour and forum advertising

I see that Mike/Terrie have decided to push the issue of their advertising on the forums. This has been something that has needed to be addressed for quite some time, but I didn't think it was really being pushed (until now).

Asking the forum members their opinion was a nice angle to take. But, as they were told by most members, it is still the decision of myself that matters on this one.

As a rule, I would rather it work where everyone gets along and doesn't take advantage of situations. But that is not always possible.

Mike/Terrie was given a "time out" after his blatant attacks on fellow promoters. But that was not enough of a hint for Mike/Terrie and they decided today to push the issue one more time.

And now, Mike is posting as Terrie on the forums while at the same time making some claim that he has banned himself from the forums and will no longer grace us with his experience in the game and knowledge.

That being the case, I have decided to help Mike/Terrie with his self-imposed ban.

Mike/Terrie have both been permanently banned from the forums. This was my decision and my decision alone. I am the only one who can drop this ban, and it is going to take some serious convincing for that to happen.

I do not want to see advertising on the forums by anyone for the Viking Tour in any way, and Mike/Terrie has been asked to remove AzBilliards from all of their promotional material.

I don't have a problem at all with room owners mentioning upcoming Viking events in the proper area. I don't want to see ALL of the Viking Tour's sponsor logos in the post though.

I don't know of any other accounts that they have, but they will also be banned when they are discovered.

I know they posted about me being a sponsor or something.I am just a
man with a camera or 5 on a mission to get more good pool here in the
southeast out to the viewers .As I have had to say alot in the past few
weeks I am not tied to any tour .

I knew the whole thing was retarded. She (Mike?) was saying there was an ad agreement with AZB so they didn't have to pay for banner space; yet, in the next post Mike was saying he would never support AZB again. Just made no sense at all to me......other than her (Mike?) thread was created just to further advertise for the Viking Tour.

I think every single business on here should advertise as a banner ad or in the signature line....but damn, pay AZB for as your advertising vehicle.

Trading ads never work. Might as well pay each other and see how it nets-out in the end. That way, there's no argument or hard feelings.
