The way it really went down

If I had the time or energy I'd create an mspaint with Dippy driving off in a 2004 Tahoe with money coming out of the back and Billy, Scott, and a big samoan chasing.

That would be epic, but alas I'm not the immature poster that I used to be, sorry.

What is true that you did not read everything and base your post on all the facts? The fact is as I said that its on this forum so people have a heads up, all other avenues have been exhausted. Not sure what your deal is and not sure I really care, your just another guy posting to post.

All I said was because of this post you guys will most likely never get paid. I dont need to read every post to come to that conclusion.

When he supposedly paid Scott, the car was not an issue.

Scott, et al., came to the pool room because he had an appiontment to meet DD at a Vegas casino. Scott was waiting and waiting, and DD was a no-show.

DD told Scott he would be delivering the title and the cheese to him at a specific time and for Scott to wait at the Vegas casino for DD tos how up. After waiting 30 minutes past the designated time, Scott received a call from DD stating that DD wasn't coming. In fact, DD was playing RW at a local pool room. Scott began to wondering how DD had the cheese to play RW when he owed Scott, at least this is what Scott is thinking at that time.

Scott thought it was unfair that DD was playing RW with cheese that Scott thought might belong to Scott. So Scott decided to mosey on over to the pool room to make his claim with a surly-looking gentleman in tow. The rest, well, it doesn't address the money amount. :)

First of all, it was 3 hours after they tried robbing me that i took the truck back, i call it fair compensation for my pain and suffering.

2 days before we played the last sets i had to loan scott money cause he lost all his in the casino, before we started playing he said win or lose ill pay you after we are done. scott has bad money managment skills.

basically believe me or believe scott frost.

i dont care either way, and yes this will bring alot of publicity to pool, i will be telling the story of how a top pool player tried to have me robbed in a pool room.

everyone can thank scott!!!!

You took the truck back that he paid you 10k for because you were pissed that Scott wanted 50k that you owed him and got nasty with you about it in a poolroom? Your really are a delusional turd, how much dope are you on today? Your no good for pool besides handing players money when you want to do it, when things do not go your way you threaten them that you wont pay. You will end up the same way Stu did the way your going, such a waste.

Yeah, that was me. I'm only half Samoan though, from the waist down.
I would appreciate very much if you would call the police on me. I would love to haul your ass into court on slander and false accusation charges. You might have to empty out your Bellagio box to pay me off.

At least your consistent, You haven't got anything right so far. Why stop now? I think there is only one guy left, out of three hundred on here, who still believes anything you say. You've dug yourself a hole so deep, you'll never be able to climb out of it. Go back to f-cking with Hellmuth. That's what you do best anyway.

how's this for a hole !

Yeah, but when he supposedly handed the money (50k) to him, that was a month ago.

You are talking about yesterday.

We have not been paid for about a month, do you think we were going to get paid, Dippy said flat out to Scott and to Billy he was not but for the first week or 2 he gave them the run around. Here is a funny story, Dippy had Scott go to meet him to give him some money. Told Scott go to the front valet, Dippys not there, told him to go to the back valet, Dippys not there, tells Scott he is at the craps table, Dippy is not there, then Dippy tells Scott that is the best way he will ever have a chance of getting his money, how hot would you be? You dont get it, Dippy was not going to pay because of the stuff that took place in the 3rd set plain and simple.

What Dippy is doing is just taunting Scott and having him chase after a carrot on a string, this is worse then just plain stiffing and saying I am not paying. Scott going to Dippy the other night with a big dude, me posting on here and whatever else did not make Dippy be a deadbeat, he had it planned as soon as he told Scott he was not going to pay when Scott made a good hit, it was a bad hit even if it was good. Why do you think he walked out after he lost and did not leave the 25k and the Rolex?

If I am understanding correctly, I am unsure why DD gave SF a Tahoe that is titled in somebody else's name.

When people begin offering their jewelry and automobiles as payment instead of cash, well, that's not a good sign, unless, of course, the Tahoe was something DD didn't need anymore. Maybe DD has other cars. ;)

BTW. I heard it through the grapevine that RW made a SWEET hit on a four-way parlay today. Maybe people are better off not playing pool when in Vegas. I never did think Vegas was a good pool town.

Yes I understand you. There are methods to getting paid tho. Might cost a little percentage but its effective. Guess we just dont think alike.

. Why do you think he walked out after he lost and did not leave the 25k and the Rolex?

That's obvious

He was going out for a drink and needed change incase some pro players wanted to drink too and needed money, plus he needed the watch so he could meet Scott at the crap-table at the proper time!

Jk

Scott had won some money I think perhaps off Dippy and needed to get some wheels, Dippy sold the Tahoe for 10k. The title and reg is in Dippys girlfriends name back in Ohio I believe so Scott was waiting for it to be sent or whatever. So Scott pays for a truck and get that stolen from him by Dippy along with being ripped for 50k, not a big deal really, I would not be mad whatsoever if I was given the runaround like this and treated like a chump. I think most people would have snapped way before this and Scott was patient along with the rest of us, we gave Dippy time to play his games and make Scott sweat it a little but we did think he would pay in the end.

I'm no genius and I don't have a dime in this deal but the guy is claiming he paid and it is on video tape. If it was my money I could call the casino before they record over that tape which, if that casino is like a lot of other places, could happen when that same day of the month rolls around again.

Other than that, I'm not involved.

Fast Lenny, you've been around the pool culture for a while and know the pool culture. It's it a tell when people begin to substitute jewelry and cars for cash as payment?

I used to play in a house poker game, and this lady pawned her 35-gram gold bracelet for 500 bucks with one of the players. By the end of the year, I think all of us owned that bracelet at one time or another. :D

Scott and Billy tried to handle it calmly and quietly and it did not work, coming on here was a last resort. What happened at the poolroom is exactly what you do not want to have happened. What would you have done?, does it include Big Nose Tony and Pretty Paulie making a visit because that is not the way to do things IMO. I think the best way was to get him on tape admitting to everything and pulling him into court and collecting but that could be far fetched too as the court could care less about some pool hall gambling, now if it was a casino debt they do care, its what keeps the lights on in LV.

good luck everyone,

im done with kangaroo court, id offer to gamble with people but im afraid of being robbed.

you know what the sad part is, you guys totally ruin your own sport, you guys condone violence in poolrooms for what ever means.

personally after what has transpired if i was a poolroom owner i would never alow scott in my room again.

and i would call the casino to get a coppy of the tape, but i have nothing to prove i know what happened. but please feel free, it was the day after we played around 230-330 pm. Ill bet 50k if someone gets a coppy of the tape you clearly see me paying scott.

the sad part is that you are a so called high rolling poker pro and you drive a 2004 Tahoe titled in your girlfriends' name, lmao.

Not in this case, Dippy was just giving Scott a deal on the truck for 10k since at the time they were getting along. Dippy must have not needed it. I do not think Dippy is broke, I know how he got his money and it was not poker. This guy was not some rounder who built up a bank roll at all, like someone said earlier he is a con artist in every sense of the word but his money is still green and pool players still need to eat so game on. :)
